I am biased, but the Geolandars are the way to go. The Toyota shops are pushing them hard. Krave Automotive has a lot of experience with them.

I've met some pretty cool friends so far since owning the Tacoma, got out a week or so ago for a 'socially distant' photo-shoot/ hangout with my friend who also has a Cement Grey. (This was just before I got my new wheels, which was the unfortunately luck we had, but we rolled with it anyways.) His edit is pretty damn epic compared to mine haha but eh I'm just workin' on my YouTube pushing along and almost to 10k Subscribers which is super cool! I did a little video coming soon of the wheels being installed that I'm very proud of can't wait to share.

A bit of a random update / clips of me struggling to pick up the 60 lbs. tires hahaha... Loaded up everything the night before going down to the shop for the install..

Finally get to post this one, really stoked with how it turned out!

Edit: F*cckkk I made a typo on the cover image nooooooo
Awesome look. My neighbour just got one in what is likely called Army Green and it's also super cool looking.
The truck bed light comes with LED's, but literally every other bulb on the truck came factory with incandescent yellow bulbs!! A little disappointing but I guess it's a cost savings for Toyota haha.. :thumbsdow
Swapped out for some new white LED's because I'm a fan of the color temp and added brightness! If you've got a few mins. to leave a comment on my new video I'd be very thankful for that!

How are you enjoying your tacoma so far these past months? Any regrets so far with the size and price of the truck?
When I got the new tires installed they were rubbing pretty bad when turning. I finally got sick of it last night and decided to see if I remove the mudflaps if it would help or not, (we didn't think it would be enough space), but to my surprise it seems to have been just enough and now there's no more rub!! Pretty stoked about that, I wish I had done it sooner ;D

Best to do something ASAP to protect your rockers and the sides if you’re going to run no mudflaps.
No mudguards = a quick ticket. I'd just shave down the mudguard or get rally armors or something
Yep. I got a smashed windshield on my GTI from a rock accelerating onto stoney last year, that had removed mudflaps.

LOL, I got this ticket 2 years ago to the day.

I bought the truck new, never had them. New truck bought new doesn't have them, and I STILL don't have them.
It is a cheaper ticket than most out there, and no demerits. If I get pulled over and turn on the charm, squeeze my tits together, they usually find something lesser to give me a ticket for, and this one is fine by me.
still a bit of a dickhead move, regardless of fines or not. Having a $300 driverside window taken out on a highway cause of that, I got no love for missing mudflaps. Also loved driving home without one dodging storms for 2 hours and losing my hearing..
You could likely dremel down the spot its rubbing on the flap, since it's not an integral part. Talk to the guys at Krave, i'm sure they'd tell you where to shave.
As I scroll through Krave's Instagram in search of an optimal solution, there's not a single vehicle with mudflaps on the front  :dunno:
Edit; Not even the ones they built for sale at Cochrane Toyota have flaps!
No idea what to do LOL. There's not much in the spot to shave down or it just becomes a hole, which I guess it fine, but then will just collect dirt and such.
The rear flaps are still on, ofcourse.
Take a heat gun to it, soften the plastic and push it in. Worth a try

I went and got universal Rally Armour mudflaps (any brand would work) and use existing hardware. They are super thin and all you have to do is make new holes.
