I absolutely love this car, but would never up my depreciation by paying over MSRP. I will wait till they get more widely distributed. I feel bad for the previous gen owners, the resale on those must have tanked.

It's phenomenal performance value for the money but IMO the best is yet to come as to me this launch version is a little half-baked. Hopefully in the coming years they will refresh the exterior styling and maybe change the hideous steering wheel.
just waiting for that c6z market to hit the bottom.
I’d say C6Z have bottomed and are holding pretty steady these days.
I loved mine, except the seats. https://youtu.be/ZYpDHtUtJ58

Yes as soon as a car crosses the border GM gets notified thanks to the OnStar GPS chips that are in the vehicles, at that point the buyer of the car gets black listed for life from ever purchasing a GM product again.
Also if a dealer suspects a scalper is buying the vehicle they have every right to refuse to sell to them.
Crossing the border only triggers a notification, it's up to GM to investigate if the vehicle has been sold and black list.
I do think it's beneficial to Canadians that they are taking action on this, as exporting these vehicles out of the country only makes it harder for legitimate Canadian enthusiasts to get their hands on these cars.
GM can prevent a dealer from selling a car to a customer?
