It appears at least the next two weeks will be below average with a lot of snow.

^ getting the snow blower ready!
To add something actually extreme to this thread...
I went to some extreme measures to get my alley driveway clear so I can get the car out this weekend...

@killramos I’m impressed at the lengths you are going to.
They may have also been the involvement of a small jackhammer

Isn’t it much easier to simply shovel the snow from the driveway after it snows. :dunno:
A tell that to my wife who used the garage all winter.
B 90% of the work was the 4” or so of ice over the dirt and stone alleyway itself.
The whole lane freezes at least that thick too, can’t shovel the entire lane way. Took 2 weeks of work to get it clear and the water able to flow into the drain. This was the last stage of work to get the area immediately outside my garage that never sees sun, and essentially doesn’t melt.
Not so simple as just keeping the driveway clear, all the water backs up onto the driveway and freezes again overnight because it can’t flow anywhere. Just freezes again.
Anyone experiencing power outages in the SE?
It keeps going off then back on... (I need to cook bloody dinner)..
Nope
Snowing again...
twas a good summer, back to winter
Back to seasonal weather patterns. Shudder.
Drizzle and temps barely below freezing overnight before it’s even April.
Very extreme.
Drive safe peeps.
The snow is coming down thick.
I nearly had a accident turning left. Opposite car was going too fast for the conditions. Anyway it totally would have been my fault... I could not see him coming. The visability is that bad. :(
Wow, my street is covered now. It will be interesting in the morning.
It'll be gone by morning. Airdrie got hammered. 8" on rhe ground in some areas. It's past the curbs.
Today everyone was begging for Friday appointments! Tomorrow I will await the slew of cancellations... lol
