Slamming her to the ground because she's not getting down fast enough... Pretty sure that's not ok - they see she's trying but not going fast enough so *boom*.
If it was a senior in the costume and they broke a hip/etc? There's all kinds of levels of bad here and albeit the store owner probably should have ensured there was an orange tip on the blaster... The instant the gun landed sounding like toy plastic not metal - they knew this wasn't a serious incident...
Police get a gun complaint and always assume its serious.
Where in the video was this person slammed to the ground? Why the fuck did someone think walking around with something that looks like a gun (ie. not pink or orange) would be a good idea?
People are idiots and fear everything - now they are even stupider and in a panic, call in a weapons complaint when clearly, this was of no threat to anyone.
If you guys want a good laugh, my moron dad walked into a gas station to buy smokes after hunting once. Decided to have the rifle slung over his shoulder as he did it. Owner of the gas station knows my dad, and didnt think anything of it i guess. But all of Merrits fuckin cops surrounded that place, after getting calls that it was being robbed. He wasnt charged thank fuck. The conversation i had with him after that... " for fucks sake, REALLY dad???? ".

This is the legal opinion where they actually reviewed the OIC

So to summarize Bill Blair :
“Nuh Uhhhhh”
Bill Blair. "Well we wrote it that way but that's not what we meant."
This is why you can't do big legislative bans with the drop of a hat without years of reviews and lawyers up the arse working on wording things right.
But a Facebook group of Karens was allowed to write it, so... Here we are
.
Lol.
Was she not carrying a standard issue misaligned stormtrooper blaster? If so, how any citizen or cop alike couldn't see what was going on seems... odd.
On a side note, I walk around with sunglasses and a mask and nobody thinks twice in these times. How robberies aren't skyrocketing is impressive restraint from the shady element.
Anybody have the following for sale:
Magpul stock for roger 10/22 (not the take down)
Magpul stock and foreend for a Mossberg 590 (prefer black but would get the earth colour)
EDIT: Found Magpul furniture for the Mossberg... Still looking for the Ruger.
If anyone on here is looking for a cheap scope, just pulled a weaver adjustable 3-9x40 off my new savage that I don’t need.
Comes with manual, cleaning cloth, lens caps, and weaver mount rings. Never been used.
Nothing fancy but will do the job for sure.
hmmmmm this might be what would fit on my planned lever action. cost?

Last I looked there was a waiting list but CDTSA operates 2 ranges nearby. One in Shepard that's 100yards. Good for pistols and .22 plinking close by. They also have a much larger range out at Milo roughly an hour from the south end of the city. That range has a ton of space and targets out to 500 meters. Been a member now for 3-4 years. Haven't found anything better local to us than thay
Haha didn’t have any details sorry. It’s a Savage Axis XP in .223Rem, trying to get through all the ammo I have stockpiled for my two banned rifles. 22” barrel. Leupold MkAR 3-9x40 mounted up top. Just a cheap little bolt action to play with for the summer. Might not even keep it past next summer once we get some more clarity on how the laws are going to proceed.
I’m a member at CDTSA, we have a nice range down at Milo that goes out to 500yrd. Nothing too drastic
