I'll take it and open it up and show you that it ends up in my computer! No flipping here
Fuck the flippers. Gotta upgrade the wife's 1070.

5800x is on for 569$ at memory express which is a pretty solid deal.
Well I just spent a pretty penny but managed to somehow get my hands on a 3070!
Built it all up myself. Parts list below:
Ryzen 5600X
Asus X570-PLUS AM4
Corsair Dominator RGB 32GB DDR4-3200 CL16 2x16GB
Corsair h100x AIO
Asus GTX 3070 TUF OC
Phanteks P400S Black TG Case
Samsung 980 M.2 NVME SSD
EVGA 850W G2 PSU
First couple days with it and I am truely impressed. Came from a 1070ti/6600k system for comparison. Playing everything at 1440p w/ g-sync. Will report later the more i throw on there. Maybe take a couple pics of the setup in a few days
Finally a 3080 :burnout:
In my benchmarking the 3080 scores roughly as much better as over the 6800XT as the 6800XT does over the 3070.

Still waiting on the phone call for my ASUS 3060ti TUF.
Some manufacturers stopped making them in lieu of the 3060 so I'm worried that I've been sitting on a fuckin' waitlist for nothing lol.
MemEx won't tell me jackshit.
Why not the 3070 instead? Heard they didnt make as many 3060ti's cause the 3070 generates more profit using a similar chip.
Being a purely impulsive buy, I was being cheap but apparently I've shot myself in the foot.
MemEx isn't adding to their waitlist anymore, but if they are willing to convert my 3060ti spot to a 3070 without going to the back of the line I'd be down but there's no incentive for them to do so.
Best buy just did 2 sperate 3060 ti drops this week, so they're still arriving, but definitely lower numbers. No ides why but people are actually selling 3060 TIs for 1900 on facebook, which is a good 400-500 more than the regular 3070 scalper prices.

Hey guys, is there anybody on here that can build me a somewhat decent PC? I'm not much into gaming, so I don't need these crazy graphics cards or the like. I have two 4 gig hard drives left over from a PC a friend built for me way back in 2006, I would like to retain those, and re use them, or at least transfer the data to new ones . I'm pretty open to anything else. He built it for me back then for $1k in parts, it stopped working about 8 years ago.
Eth skyrocketed over the past week. Looking more and more like GPU shortage won't quit anytime soon.
About $1k or so, what would that get me? Max is $2k which should be more then fair for a somewhat basic PC
