Looks great.
Big things are happening. I needed more cargo space so I am removing the power adder (bottle) from the cargo area and am installing a power adder in its butt.
Built my hotside today. The chain is temporary, still have to build hangers. First big step complete!

EDIT: Bonus! The hotside and turbo also tuck up further than the stock exhaust so the wagon can stay slammed.
:clap: :clap::clap: :clap:
Much turbo such fast <3
More progress. Made tailpipe and wastegate tube, mounted the scavenge pump and plumbed oil drain to it. Next weekend I'll have the oil lines all done and can run the car with the turbo on it. I'm excited to hear what the exhaust sounds like, rear mount cars have very pronounced turbine sound. :D

Awesome! What will you use to tune it? Since you winter drive it, are you planning to build some sort of shield for the air filters or will they be good like that?
Yeah I'm going to box in the filter at some point, low priority since summer is around the corner. For tuning I'm going a bit ghetto. Rising rate FPR to spike fuel pressure under boost for enrichment. For ignition timing I'm gonna just let jesus take the wheel. :D Worked for nitrous, and hitting 100 shot at 2000rpm is way more cylinder pressure than 5psi of boost coming on at 3000.
That takes me back, I previously ran a Cartech FMU on my Turbo Shelby Daytona. It had a distributor though so I could dial back the timing. The Paxton supercharger kits for 2003-2008 Vipers also ran an FMU and they worked decent enough.
Yeah that's my theory. Vortech sold how many foxbody mustang kits with FMUs that ran fine? Seems to work well enough for a "little" bit of boost. And I think the BMW electronics and knock sensors kept it alive with nitrous so it'll retard timing with boost as well.
Finished oil lines, installed and wired scavenge pump. Also put on a turbo blanket I had lying around. Oil feed out of the filter housing, oil return into the valve cover.

Nicely done!
For a case of beer I can sell you my old SMT-6 piggyback controller. I used it with my old butt-turbo setup on my truck.
Ah yeah I remember your Ram, ran 11s didn't it? I might take you up on that if plan A doesn't pan out for me.
Here's this weekend's update. Built all my charge pipes under the car and up the firewall. Also built a nice tube and flange for the MAF. Just need to connect the two and charge pipes are done.

I'll post a proper update a little later on, but for now I'll leave you with this video. Engine bay is filthy from winter so I'll give it a wash so it looks less disgusting before showing the finished product.
wow!!! that looks amazing!!!! definitely an awesome wagon!!!
How much boost are you planning to run? How are the tranny's in these for holding a few more hp?
I think on 6psi it'll match a stock M5. Auto trans held up to 2 years of 100 shot of nitrous, if it dies the car gets manual swapped.
Awesome. Had a good laugh when you floored it at :10 seconds, thought you were going to take it easy.
