You can do that at 0.0005btc, no need to wait for 0.001!
That’s what I’m doing now, just to diversify... but if you’re moving it anywhere from coinbase, they hit you with some steep fees too

I'm still with NH, too lazy to switch and its just for fun money anyways. That being said at 600$ now from my 3060ti so basically paid for itself. I swapped all my btc back to eth a bit back so this Eth runup has been great.
Made $5K. Thank you free electricity on the lease.
Could've made $15K if I held on
My rig:

How long did it take to make $5k? What's your hardware investment?
About 18 months. $2k investment. I bought the stuff back around nov 2018.
Interestingly if you'd just bought Eth at the very peak of Jan 2018 you'd have ~6k$ worth today. Though your rig is worth a bit so probably still ahead slightly. However if you'd taken that 2k$ and bought Eth in July of 2018 after things fell then you'd have roughly 16k$ instead.
Still mining w/ NH. Dump to Coinbase, and then convert (for no fee) to other currencies, like ETH.
Better than mining ETH and then moving them to binance or something.
How do you figure? My 2miner is in eth, and goes right to binance for free where I can actually do stuff with it vs picking one of the 12 coins on coinbase, with no additional financial instruments
And coinbase might say there is no fee to convert to another coin... but you eve notice how after you do it, your value in USD is just never as much??
Lots of the 'no fee' places just give you a worse rate. They take a % or 2 off the live value for their cut.
I don't trust leaving my money in Binance, really. And I have coinbase setup to withdraw, if I need it. But really, there's a potential added bonus. You're mining ETH, and getting paid out in the equivalent of BTC. So if ETH is high and BTC is low, you get more BTC, and if BTC then goes up (more than ETH), extra $$.
Also, the auto tweaks on the NH miner have really wrung my equipment out in the most efficient way. Hash rate is down a bit, but power usage is down _a lot_. My cards run at ~49-51*C full time.
For staking is it better to use liquidity pools or yield farming?
whats your efficiency rate kH/W?
I tried the NHQM tuning and didnt find it work well for me although I wasn't aiming for most efficient
here's what I'm getting with my RTX after tuning them myself
3060Ti - 481 kH/w at 62.11 MH/s and 129 W
3070 - 463 kH/w at 62.04 MH/s at 134 W
managed to snag another 1060 6GB yesterday making 21MH/s right now.
mining seems to be pretty profitable at the moment, ~4US$/day with a 1060 is nice
I bought a bunch of DOGE, haha. To the moon. :bigpimp:
