Who’s Darren with now? He did my R8 and did a great job.
Need to do a full wrap toward the end of month, has anyone here done the matte film with good success?

Uniglass Ziebart just did my car and did a great job. Awesome pricing too!
Glen worked for diamondkote for ages before branching out on his own
Gotta shout out to Auto Protectors. They do amazing work there at good prices
What’s everyone’s experience with clearplex or other film on windshield? Does it have impact on visibility?
@rage2 does.
I can confirm he is with VPS still, he did my C43 a few months back, excellent work still. They push SunTek film so not sure if there is another brand you prefer. He's in the NE now across the street from the FedEx Ground Terminal off Aero Drive. They share space with DCC Hail so you just go in there and ask for him.
Yea they’re good if it’s a summer car and you never use the wipers. The adhesive disintegrates using wiper and vision is worse than pitting.
Of course both cars as soon as I removed I got chips on both cars. It works to stop chips and pitting.
I had it on my Aston Martin and just after 6 months of use, it stated getting hazy and at night time you'd see distorted and lengthy light reflections (sort of like how light looks when you squint). I wouldn't recommend it generally but for something like the Aventador, the added protection against chips is a good option to have especially the car likely won't be driven THAT much.
Thanks everyone, I think I’ll hold off on the windshield film for now and just avoid the Deerfoot. Ha
Rainer did paint protection on my wife's GLS going into winter and I am very happy with how it turned out, highly recommended! 7 months later and the work they did still looks perfect.

Rainier is good shit. He did my truck, and unlike most places was wicked to deal with.
Just an idea, what if you install traditional PPF on the windshield and when scratched up from wipers just use a heat gun to make it self heal? haha, or PPF has too much distortion most people will find it unbearable?
Ended up getting my PPF, ceramic, and ceramic tint done by Rainer and Greg at Expressive Details and Autoworks.
Highly recommend both of them, Rainer's attention to detail is incredible. Even as we were just chatting when I picked up my car, he was still nitpicking and inspecting it for the 100th time.
Did Rainer move again? Good to know.
Sounds like I’ll go to Rainer too.
