You can still reserve a 256GB Gold 7 + at either apple store for carrier pickup.
The demand for the 7 is way lower than I expected.
Is it possible to do a carrier specific pickup through the Apple store? I'm not all that interested in paying for it all up front...

That's what I had to with the 6s since Rogers was out... But the guy couldn't figure it out so 45min later I just bought the damn thing outright
I think nobody knew they opened carrier reservations with a separate allocation. It was all gone by the time I checked this morning. The non plus OTOH still has availability for deliver or pickup on launch day in tons of colors and sizes, but that could be from additional stock.
