Asking for a friend, what's going price of concrete pad theses day per sq/ft wise?
Just got a quote on a 8x8 which worked out to about $30 per sq/ft
Not affiliated with them. But these guys were on my community Facebook page and this might give you an idea.

This sounds very accurate to my recollection.
There is little money to be saved as the price of the concrete is about 60% of the job. Just find someone who actually tamps the sand and "chairs the rebar" because when I was doing this, we didn't and that's a dog shit job.
Elevated (on chairs) rebar is your friend and the more rebar the better because concrete in tension is as stable as Bruce Jenner.
Ok, but let's clarify. What we used to do was grab the cage/matrix and lift it after screeting like as if it would stay off the ground during floating & brushing when the density of steel is something like 7x that of concrete.
You can fuckin put rocks or broken patio stones beneath it to elevate it, not expensive plastic chairs - I agree. You just something to hold it in that top third.
If you don't, it's on the bottom, guaranteed and the bottom of the slab is not in tension so that rebar might was well not be there.
We're paying $10.00/s.f. right now for non Engineered residential slab pours in Saskatoon.
Anyone have an idea what someone might charge for some patio concrete per sq ft- maybe exposed aggregate.. 175sqft (ish).. zero prep done (grass still in the area)? Asking for a friend too haha
Looks like ~10-11$/SQFT for the IMPACT guys.
How much to REMOVE old concrete? Probably the same per SQFT?
If anyone is looking for an estimate, I do know a cheap, decent guy who does concrete. Was the cheapest around when I did my walkway last summer
The company I used is Sublime Concrete

Prob best to sub out a crew to remove the old pad. Couple of guys with jack hammers !
I saw a neighbour rent one of those small trailer-mounted mini excavators with a jack hammer attachment for his driveway. Got it ripped out by himself in a few hours.
Received a recent quote for residential path/stairs and it came out to $11/sq foot which seems right on par with what everyone else has mentioned in this thread
