I watch a lot of Vegas games, I think everyone is underrating Tuch’s value. I’d rate him close to Tkachuk, and he’s locked in on a long relatively cheap contract. Tkachuk won’t be cheap this off season. That combo gives a much higher value for Tuch.

Shocker. Similar to Gaudreau Buffalo didn't/doesn't have much use for Chucky on an expiring contract.
I'd bet Buffalo was leaking that information to Weeks to get Vegas to up their offer.
Sucks the Flames didn't get Eichel but glad its finally over.
This is another reason why the Flames have always been and will continue to be mediocre.
They are afraid to make the hard decisions and big moves required to be a contender in the cap era.
Meanwhile we have three of our best players as expiring contracts at the end of the year.
Fun times.
Now all of the PR people are leaking that Chucky wasn't on the table to smooth things over.
Tkachuk never made sense. He has a $9m qualifying offer this off season. He's rental trade bait, not get a franchise player back trade bait. When that trade package was rumoured, it was an easy yes IMO because it was that absurd. Even NHL 21 would've rejected that shit haha. That and I'm not a fan of Tkachuk's play in the last 12 months.
Tkachuk holds all the cards this off season.
They still have to make sure he isn't pissed off.
Oh for sure. I’m on the wagon cuz of you and needed another team to cheer for. I am also a Tuch fan lol
I guess buffalo didn’t like my offer of monahan, kyllington, 1st and 2nd, could have thrown more extras too lol
Feels like mony too many injuries and might not even get back to his 20-30 goal range unless he scores everything on the PP out front.
A healthy eichel, lindholm, backland, dube, that’s strength down the middle alright.
Anyway carry on just slightly disappointed
Chucky should be traded ASAP.
We weren't even close. 1) it's Vegas vs Calgary as a city to live in. 2) Vegas has a better chance to win
wtf? do you know what a trade means? He has zero control over where he can go.
It's funny that now we didnt get him, all the fanboys are out and bitching. we simply don't have the pieces that'd make it work. Would you have traded Mangiapane? or Lindholm, low cap hit with team control for another few years.
As Friedman has said multiple times today, I don't think the Flames were ever close. The Leak was to up the price on Vegas which finally gave up Peyton Krebs, whom is an elite prospect to make it work.
Anderson looked like absolute garbage last night. He couldn't keep the puck on his stick, gave up like 5 turnovers. Sutter kept putting him back out there for some reason.
That Tkachuck goal was pretty slick.
The dome looks like a fun place to be
Holding my breath, but so far things look promising...GFG!
