Scheduled for Monday October 18. Currently 15 candidates for mayor. The sum total of my knowledge of these people is beside thier names below:

Larry Heather - Crazy and probably racist
Kevin J. Johnston - Crazier and definitely racist, hates AHS, not a chill guy

Municipal government is pretty important for residents, but it's hard to keep up with these people for the casual voter.

Definitely Farkas.

I don’t know anything about this Davison guy, except he’s 12 years old and some abortion group says he voted in favour of progressive policies every time lol.

Would like to see a voting history on him from Fraser or something but I have a feeling he is just a male Gondek. Which probably bodes well for Farkas.

The problem is the rich residents of Hillhurst will elect Dru II: Even Fancier Glasses.

Not surprised my councillor ended up running (Jeff Davidson), wouldnt be suprised if he won either.

Cant vote for someone who spent 10 years at CNRL. That’s poor decision making.

They voted together on too many big things to be considered opposites. Most of their fighting is just because their voters hate each other, so it’s beneficial to appear opposite to each other.

All leads to the same thing, which is what Druh voters want: more NIMBYism, more Community Association involvement in decision making, no big ticket commercial items, increased services based on community pressure rather than operational efficiencies, etc.

Davison is the anti-Druh but does a good job appearing to be supportive of shared issues despite his voting and campaign record: He’s the ‘open-for-business’, don’t let communities get in the way of development and projects, big ticket supporting but with a smile candidate. But he looks and talks like a progressive, urbanism candidate which wins people over.
