That white car is what India government would of offered Harper.

Really, you wouldn't do the same? High ranking government official, in India? A country that had a three day long terrorist attack only three years ago?
It's a joke that this is making headlines more than the actual much-needed trade mission to India.
Canada isn't a third world country - we should do what is necessary to protect our leader.
Secondly, this wouldn't have been Harper's decision in the first place. The RCMP Security makes the decisions on what is necessary (was speaking to a former RCMP who used to provide detail for Trudeau this morning). Harper has little to no involvement in security. In fact, the PMO apparently usually pushes for less security and the RCMP have to push back until they agree on an adequate level.
If I was anyone important, I'd definately REQUEST my own cars in India. Random riots goes down out of nowhere, if someone hates Canada for some stupid reason and starts shit, you'll die because cops are totally useless there. Except maybe taking bribes.
Those cars are gonna need new suspension when they come home haha.
So the vehicles will be placed on a RCAF C-17 that will take a trip, maybe two. Flight hours and fuel has already been paid for and is part of the annual allocated flight hours for the transport fleet. A non-issue, but thanks to mainstream Canadian news, which has a terminals case of Harper Derangement Syndrome, this crap makes headlines. 30 years of liberal/socialist brainwashing has an impact.
I'm so sick of the Lefties in the East.Quote:

I spent a few days in Ottawa with locals last month and honestly, my mind was blown. They are all so pro-union, pro-government jobs, pro-job security....if it was up to them, Canada will be like Greece in 40 years. They're stuck holding on to principles and jobs that worked in the 50s. No wonder Canada lacks in productivity.
Hell, I went out for dinner with a hottie from the Quebec side of the River and she was talking about her Pensions. She's 26. What the fuck!?!?!
From what I hear, it was holding a trunk full of weapons grade uranium.
Wait... Bad joke.
Like I said, It's a joke that this is making headlines more than the actual much-needed trade mission to India. Nobody gives a crap why Harper's in India, but the slight possibility that some resources might have been wasted makes the front page. Fucking ridiculous.Quote:

I like that people are aware of how funds are spent, it gives a level of transparency that is commonly missing in political spending. How people interpret the spend is up to them and to me, this doesn't bother me one bit. Allison Redford spending 900/night on a hotel while traveling promoting Alberta does run me the wrong way though.
How AHC spends its money would be a pretty interesting/head smashing read.
I was expecting a bulletproof Escalade ESV
But good on em for shipping out the vehicles... Show's they aren't lapsing on the security...
I think it's totally justified.

After 40 years of waiting we are going to finally sell nuke material to India. Again, Canada has little choice if the US is going to stop buying things like oil.
Lol That hottie obviously is thinking about her future, and pulling her own weight. Over there that same girl woulda been talking about YOUR pension, and thinking about how long she'd have to be with you and how little she'd have to do for you before she could get her hands on it.Quote:

Clearly they should have just driven them there, right?
She did seem like she worked hard, but it also sounded like her office was generally full of useless people. Of course, being in Ottawa, it was a government job (parole board). Her brother was the head of some Union so she was also a huge supporter of Unions. I kept trying to explain to her that all of the people she was complaining about in her office who did no work were only able to do so because of the union she also supported. She just didn't get it.Quote:

My favourite was when she was talking about how great the CBC was and I broke out a "Communist Broadcasting Corporation" comment. Her friends got a laugh and agreed it's wrong for a government funded station to be so left-wing.
As far as your gold digging comment - that shit is international son! That said, out of everywhere I've been, Calgary has to be one of the worst places for women expecting 'entitlements'. Can't really put that on the Easterners...
:hijack:
LOL
Thankfully, security needs are determined by the RCMP - not the opposition party.
The RCMP will manage security for the PM regardless of who is in office. Politicians, regardless of their party, need to be protected when abroad.
I think Harper should have used this

They'll be looking for a guy in an armored SUV, this would provide the best security of all. Stealth.
Sadly, it's the retards who vote for the opposition who are being swayed by the media's attention to this.Quote:
