Glad this was just a targeted shooting. What if it was an active shooter shooting at people and kids randomly? Cops going to show up instantly and guarantee no injury or deaths? Not allowing concealed carry is fine but these big malls should have armed guards these days. Think of how much rental income these malls generate, hell put that cost on the businesses. Can't hire armed security when there are so many families and kids at these places? I love going to the malls with my family and would totally suck if someone started shooting and all we could do is run and hide and wait for cops to show up. *Shooter still got away*
How is concealed carry working out for the safety of the citizens in the places where that's legal? I'm not up to date on the latest stats, but I'd love to be more educated on the subject.

You want to give handguns to minimum wage mall cops and you think that's going to make people safer? I totally disagree.
Because there aren't shootings in any States that have #ConcealedCarry anymore. Well, there is, but the shooter is always instantly #OneShotOneKill 'd by one of the many extremely proficient regular citizens who are wandering around with guns just ready to #QuickDraw on whatever turrurrist starts shooting.
Let's look at the many many many examples of this...
Hang on... My Google must be infected by #LibTard bias because I'm having trouble, but I'll update this post later.
Just off the top of my head, even! Let's consider Nevada. They have concealed carry and I haven't heard a single thing go wrong there in nearly 700 days. We just gotta take it about 700 days at a time.
#MAGA.
Active shooter killed by two armed bystanders

I tried to find examples of where the vigilante killed an innocent person and did not find one in 10 seconds of searching. seems like they usually just get themselves killed.
So why not have at 'er? Preventing 1 is better than preventing none.
If it saves only one life...
And then you have all the extra "crime of passion" murders that happen because someone had the right to carry.

This paper uses more complete state panel data (through 2014) and new statistical techniques to estimate the impact on violent crime when states adopt right-to-carry (RTC) concealed handgun laws. Our preferred panel data regression specification, unlike the statistical model of Lott and Mustard that had previously been offered as evidence of crime-reducing RTC laws, both satisfies the parallel trends assumption and generates statistically significant estimates showing RTC laws increase overall violent crime. Our synthetic control approach also strongly confirms that RTC laws are associated with 13-15 percent higher aggregate violent crime rates ten years after adoption. Using a consensus estimate of the elasticity of crime with respect to incarceration of 0.15, the average RTC state would need to roughly double its prison population to offset the increase in violent crime caused by RTC adoption.
Oh fuck not another gun debate thread haha.
All this talk just reminds me of that hilarious subway metro scene in Predator 2 where everyone pulls out their peashooter.
