A few weeks for Transmountain might be optimistic. Some of the aerial shots from today are not pretty, but we'll see.

There is a chance TM is restarted within 2-3 days.
Assessment has not been completed yet but prelim looking good based on some industry reports I have seen this aft.
MSW diff has already blown out to -7/bbl so it seems some apportionment and glut is expected near term.
only thing I panic buy is alcohol. But I'm honestly really well stocked right now.
@rage2 the road will probably take awhile, the rail will probably be a week. Our fibre paths there will probably be repaired today or tomorrow with temp cabling.
Sorry, I don't have the pics myself, they were just shown to me. One appeared to show a few dozen meters of pipe completely exposed/washed out and floating unsupported in the river but I don't know if they had confirmed if it was the TM line or not. So don't take any of that as gospel. It wasn't broken or leaking, just hanging out.

Didn't ya hear? Trudeau said whatever bc wants.
And bc wanted more ferries built - so meet the new abbotsford to chilliwack ferry
We don't need to fix hwy 1 - we'll just put a ferry on it.
Only if it’s a high speed ferry.
No no... Low speed... Gotta make it worth the 240$ they're going to charge you for the privilege
I’d like to reciprocate all the supportive and constructive comments from BC folks during the big Calgary flood.
Lets ring up the UAE and see if they are interested in giving the old ones back.

Really good to hear that the efforts of everyone aren't for nothing. Hopefully they can keep the water out for a little longer.
As bad as it is: Still doesn't hold a candle to a China flood every other year.
Good thing I made the cutoff.

well the chinese version defines "3 Units" as pounds, servings, bags, ...etc)
so you could argue for 3 flats?

3 lemon teas won’t last me a day.
