anyone done suspension bushings before?

i am having trouble pressing the bushing out of the control arms etc.

What do you recommend?
or better yet anyone know of a shop that will press them out for me?

What we did for mine is used a vice and a couple of large sockets. Get a socket large enough to just catch the metal on one side and a smaller one on the other. If you can find some pipe or any thing else that will work as a substitute go for it. Works awsome once you get it working. Burning them out like the how-to says takes years.

Dude i burnt mine out..took no time at all lol. BTW I havent driven my car since I put in all my bushings...is it a huge difference?

ya i really dont want to burn them out because it is messy and stinky and bad for the environment.... i found a place that will press them out for me though which is great.

I tried messing around with a 3 jaw puller and it is freaking useless lol
