The Wisconsin recount backfired - it ended up handing Biden 87 more votes. The Trump campaign paid about $35K/vote to widen Biden's lead
They lost the PA appeal as well with a Trump-appointed judge ruling: "Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,"
Trump has long since abandoned any hope of winning. This is just grandstanding and keeping himself in the public eye. Basically Hillary Clinton/Russiagate, Trump style.

Jesus has he gotten older since the election?
he was frying 7 turkeys? Wow, that's impressive, and probably more relevant than anything else about him these days.
All these old white men look the same to me
That's not Biden, Its McCain.
I clearly need a bigger cell phone. Guess I’m too old to be president now too
There's a disclaimer on his donation site that says up to 50% of the money can be put towards his general campaign fund, which is basically a slush fund for his families various extra curriculars. So for every dollar he gets to waste on these vote hearings, another dollar goes into his pocket
AZ election integrity hearing live now. Little shocked at how much religion is brought into these things...can't imagine that being terribly productive on the world stage, but maybe it's just a bigger part of US culture than I was aware of.
One of the only live feeds I can find for these things that don't cut out is NTD - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfC2T7UpxkI
Like them or not, Viva and Barnes posted a great overview of everything that might come down the pipe between now and January, including historic context in regards to the timing of everything and how this process isn't as simple as a lot of people believe.

There are laws around where donated money can be used and allocated. https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-...s/personal-use
Quote:
Using campaign funds for personal use is prohibited.
Commission regulations provide a test, called the "irrespective test," to differentiate legitimate campaign and officeholder expenses from personal expenses. Under the "irrespective test," personal use is any use of funds in a campaign account of a candidate (or former candidate) to fulfill a commitment, obligation or expense of any person that would exist irrespective of the candidate’s campaign or responsibilities as a federal officeholder.
More simply, if the expense would exist even in the absence of the candidacy or even if the officeholder were not in office, then the personal use ban applies.
Conversely, any expense that results from campaign or officeholder activity falls outside the personal use ban.
