I still remember the ribbing I got when I let ABCars do a feature on my car.
I don't know if any of those photos still exist.

Pic of a pic lol
More!
Crappy quality lol
Tbt. You get the idea.
Prettty sure I have videos of those events stored on my external hd (not my footage).
Often wonder what happened to some of those cars.
Will try and find this weekend and post them up.
...
Springs holding the hood open is something that I still wish would die. It's open enough to ruin the lines of the car, but closed enough you can't see shit.
Best thread bump ever, thank you  :D
I remember going to a show back in 2003 or so, think it was DTP at the max bell, not sure. There was that guy with the red civic with the black vinyl roof (not vinyl as in wrap, vinyl as in 70's Cadillac) and on the way to the show his carbon hood latch failed and the hood flipped up into the windshield on Deerfoot.
Also remember the guys from RPM Racing. Their white civic show car was actually done really nicely.
I miss those RPM shows.. I looked forward to them every year. If you werent apart of the scene in the early 2000's you missed on hell of a time. Contemporary Motorsports and Auto Zeal were life for my civic lol.

That was Mar's car, lots of photos in this thread of it changing throughout its lifetime. Hood flew up on the way to meet the rest of Silent Rage at the Deer Valley Shell station prior to roll in for Urban Dream (that was the show). Painter had only taped the hood latch on, not screwed it back in place and it flew up on Anderson.
Ah good times
lol i remember that... the whole silent rage crew rolling up to that show and Marlons hood just shit the bed. That was awesome.Quote:

Can’t believe how good it looks still. Like it was parked and forgotten about.
Wow that's awesome! Those were great days
Wow, old thread, but great times back in the day. Can’t believe this was 20+ years ago
God this thread brings me back to better days. The car scene used to have so much life back in the day. Id give anything to go back tho the simpler days of the 2000's...
