Power Trunk Mod
Has anyone installed one of these power liftgate / tailgate mods / retrofits?
Just wonder how cumbersome the process is and if I should tackle it myself.
Otherwise, if I bought the kit, who would install it and at what cost?

update: So I bought a kit and did my parent's 2019 CR-V EX. (the factory power lift gate is EX-L and above)
$499 USD = $663.61 CAD
Plus they ship DHL only so I paid those crooks $46.82 CAD
I did not pay for nor install the optional kick sensor.
Total cost: $710.43
I took about 5 hours to do the job. Includes a full teardown of the liftgate interior, replacement of the struts, running the 2 strut cables from the car body to the lift gate, running 2 cables to the driver seat for power and driver button, soldering into the B pillar rear door harness for remote capabilities. I think I spent a solid 30min on one of the steps though because it made zero sense; when I decided to skip forward the next step pretty well explained the previous.
Overall pretty happy with the install. I put zero cable management into the lift gate so good luck to anyone who goes in after me.
I'd be interested in doing it again for my own car but probably not by myself, so I'd be glad to meet any of you if y'all are offering to help in exchange for booze and grub.
