Voles!
They're back!
Not sure how many i have living in my backyard, but the yard looks like a crazy maze right now. Saw a bunch running under my concrete patio, lots of void space under there.
Not sure how to get rid of these guys and prevent them from coming back.
Anyone know where to buy poison for voles?
Hoping to get the poison gas that exterminators use. I've seen them use rubber/carpet to seal around a concrete pad and gas them.
Any ideas of how i can fill the void under the concrete patio? pushing gravel and dirt won't get far down there...

buy a falcon, an owl, or an eagle, problem solved right?:D

Regular mouse traps helped me out a lot last year

Go to a farm and rent a cat that's half feral.

Call abell pest control and save yourself time headache and.another thread. They were reasonably priced and. came back for a second visit to ensure they were gone.

Get a Weasel. They're great Vole-hunters.
This guy has been very successful.

Just use regular mouse traps or pellets.

I had some last year and used a combination of pellets and mouse traps. They are gone for now..

What type of pellets are you guys using? I should put some down before the snow is back as my voles returned but much less than last year.

Pellet gun, rocking chair, and a case of beer. Should keep your weekends interesting.

Is it like the case with the grasshopper problem? you have to get a hunter to kill the grasshoppers then another hunter to get rid of whatever hunting the grasshoppers.
I bought some poison from crappy tire and it did the job. One day I saw them out in the open barely moving so I finished the job. Don't pile snow near where they can hide (front porch, deck, etc), those tunnels need to go somewhere. They won't survive with a big pile of snow in the middle of a field.
