Divebombing is coming in from behind, nowhere beside the other car, braking extremely late and forcing your way in under braking with the hope of forcing your competitor off the road. It's sort of legal, if you leave enough room for the other car on the exit. This is Danny Ric's specialty back in the RBR days.
Being side by side prior to an entry to a corner isn't divebombing. That's the basis of Toto's argument is that Hamilton has as much of a right to whatever line he wants as long as he leaves room on the exit. Unfortunately there's no way to tell if he would've left room on the exit or not because they had crashed prior to the corner exit. Horner's argument is that Hamilton doesn't have a right to be in that corner because you don't put a wheel up on another car on the inside like a dive bomb. This clearly shows that not only did Hamilton not just put a wheel up on the inside, he had his whole car fully on the inside.
If you look at turn 6, a few corners prior, Hamilton was well clear of Max, and Max braked super late and forced his way in on the inside, and pushed wide leaving zero room. That's a dive bomb and would've taken Hamilton out if he didn't GTFO of the way.
What's funny about Jerez 97 is that Villeneuve pulled a dive bomb on Schumacher. Of course this was prior to any rules saying you had to leave room when racing was more aggressive and Wild West back then. Schumacher was punished via losing all of his points in 97 because the in car showed him seeing Villeneuve, backed off, then purposely turned in to cause the crash. They were warned prior to the race weekend about deliberate crashes and heavy penalties. What Schumacher should've done is back off, as Villeneuve's line was severely compromised and would be slow as shit out of the corner, switch back and had a run on him to pass him back. That's what Hamilton did in Turn 6 to setup for what we saw at Copse.
Lewis' move was definitely more subtle that Schumi 97
I am done talking about this. I hope it's the same result in all the remaining races as well. I hope Max continues to drive aggressively the way he does thinking everyone else should get out of his way and I hope all other drivers decide to not back out. #theend
^ this. I'd be ok with them taking each other out for the remaining races and Lando sneaking by for the WDC LOL.

I like Benz's better. Short and sweet - to the point.
Yo @ shakalaka;, Whats your legal take on this..? Things are spicing up... Maybe its a opportunity to extend your services out to Deutschland (in exchange for free F1 Tickets..?).

Will be over before it starts considering it was Max who turned into Lewis
Life was simpler when Grosjean crashed and no one disputed it. Or Maldonado
Helmut is a joke anyway, but notwithstanding that, I don't think any legal action is going anywhere. At first, I used to think only Horner was a whiner, then I came to learn that Max is pretty much the same and now it appears the entire RBR squad rolls that way.
What do you make of the Ferrari pace in the first stint? Was ham sand bagging? Ham easily had leclerc with only 5 lap newer tires. I was quite impressed with Ferrari. Super happy for Norris and Danny ric, but leclerc had something special going on.
I try and be unbiased, just happy for some close racing and dramatic events to keep the wife happy.
I’m sure the Ferrari was faster when their power unit was functioning lol
Ruh roh there’s a summons for Max
