Not a bad price, but I am hoping to get into some light furniture building, so it's probably not going to cut it. Skimping on a planer seems like a bad idea.Quote:

What are people using for table saws? Bosch? Dewalt? Something else?
I am using a ridgid contractors table saw. Good value for the money, portable, and lots of features. I like it a lot. But if you are going to have a dedicated workshop, I would get the metal version with the weighted base.

Saw it in an email from Amazon. After doing some quick research just noticed it ships from Singapore so it is subject to duties/taxes/etc and it is from a new seller. So this doesn't look very legit at all.Quote:

That's an amazon scam. It'll take you weeks to get your money back and they now have your credit card info.
Basically any new seller with crazy discounted items on amazon is a scam.
I don't think Amazon passes on the buyers credit card information. The payments are processed by Amazon and not by third party sellers.Quote:
