Nice Canada Leaf there Ferrari!
Lots of engine upgrades this race, should be interesting to see which manufacturer gains the most on a power track.

Pretty sure Ferrari is just trolling.
Expect a Ferrari 1-2.
No engine upgrades for Merc due to QC issues while Ferrari, Renault, and Honda have brought new upgraded engines.
They'll be on old engines that's on it's 7th weekend.
^ When Mercedes make a statement like that what's to stop them from running a fresh updated engine?
Wolff comes across as the type of guy who likes to have a little fun and mess with people.
FP2 live on TSN 1/4 at 11:45 am. Going to get so much work done this afternoon.
RBs are looking fast! They did have the faster tires on though
Wow... Le Goomba is starting on 4th..
Race about to begin... where is everyone..?
Watching. Bit of a snooze fest for a Canadian GP.
Tell me about it.
At least the standings are staying tight to make the season interesting. Nice to see a season where there isn’t domination by one team
First lap was awesome. Surprised that Bottas didnt back down on Max. Good clean racing. Then that stroll crash was pretty big.
Safety car and then it became a snoozefest till about 5 laps to go when Max almost caught Bottas (0.1 behind!) and Hamilton came close to Ricciardo. But then the TV director decided not to show any of those battles. Then add the whole checkered flag fiasco.
All in all it was another procession on a track that is usually full of overtaking. This is becoming a tiresome pattern.
And why in the hell did they change the podium process? Why are they interviewing before the podiums? What a buzzkill. And we dont get to hear them talking in the staging room. I just dont understand that move.
The drunk running the checkered flag was the best part.
could have waived the flag after 20 laps and not much difference would have been made.
They need to fix the tires badly. No way you should be able to one stop on the two softest compounds. The tires dont degrade fast enough and the performance differences between the compounds seem to be marginal this year.
Have to agree with everyone, that was a boring fucking race sans the first lap. It had all the potential to be an epic race but ended up worse than Monaco.
^ If by fix the tires you mean convince Michelin to return and restrict only the size of tire/rim - agreed.
Since open tire development could mean no stops are required, they could reduce/remove the fuel restrictions and bring back re-fuelling to counter.
No reason the engines shouldn't be spinning to 18,000 - 25,000. Reducing fuel in the form of battery power is just green posturing..
If you can't tell I'm looking forward to 2021.
Definitely not a track issue. Canada has been typically exciting, but like you said dirty air and these low deg tires make for boring races. I'd love to see 2-3 stop races like Horner said the other day. Tires need a change, and the aero regs need one too.
