Hey everyone,
I did a search but those results were ancient.
Just curious if anyone here works at either of the Subaru dealerships here.
If not does anyone have a recommendation of who to see?
Thank you

I just did email method when I bought mine, so don't really have much of a recommendation. I didn't buy from the Red Deer or Lethbridge dealerships, but I can say that I had a much more pleasant time dealing with them than either of the two Calgary dealerships.
Bought my WRX two years ago strictly over email from Scott Subaru. Had enough with the shitty service at both Calgary locations.
I'll pm you who I used. I sent my brother to him when he wanted to lease an ascent.
When I had my STI had good service at Scott in Red Deer. Young kid named Ryan King was awesome while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. Talked to him a lot over email after that about a newer Gen one, even let me drive his WRX. [email protected]
Ryan King has been awesome for me so far as well. I inquired a few months ago about a Forester and a trade in. Gave a good trade offer but ultimately I backed out. I wanted to sell privately and asked him for the CarFax and he sent it to me no problem since he already pulled it. Today I bought a new Forester from him, picking up on Friday morning :)
Yep I sure did! Will update the thread. Last month has been insane with work and last week with dealing and wheeling on car(s). Will update the Crosstrek thread and the "post your latest purchase" thread shortly :D
Also, finally met Ryan King in person today, chill dude, would buy from him again anytime!
I am just going to bump this thread and recommend Ryan King at Scott Subaru as well. I called him this afternoon after seeing his name here and bought a new Forester over the phone / email without any BS in about 15 min and got a pretty good deal right off the bat so no negations were required on my end to get a better deal.
Now I just gotta wait a few weeks for it to come in :)
just wanted to update my post as I picked up the wife's new Forester today and met Ryan King for the first time.
What an excellent guy to deal with and he has the "power" to make a decision without having to run over to the manager for approval and he handled all of the finance paper work, without all the BS up selling of extra stuff.
Scotts Subaru in Red Deer is for sure 1,000% better than Subaru of Calgary and well worth the 1.5 hr drive.
What kind of discount are you guys getting on the forester?
Things are definitely different, I reached out to them for a price on a crosstrek for a family member. Only $600 bucks off lol.
