Trump is a hero. a real person and makes no excuses for it looking out for real people.
trudeau is a fake weezle looking after his spirtitual leaders bank account.
Granted, my answer wasn't so much in regards to whom is more damaging to their country, but rather a shoot from the hip response.
With that said, if one has to ask why I despise Trudeau and how I think he damages our country, then I'm at the point of just shaking my head and walking away.
I already answered your first point.
On your second point. Trudeau is much worse than a "dickhead" politician as you say. Rather, he's a dickhead and a buffoon. Heck, here's just a glimpse of many (scroll through).

According to Trudeau, white Caucasians are all racist and/or sexist. One example of that, is how he handled the recent Colten Bouchie issue, or his blumbering non-answer to why he's letting ISIS fighters into Canada. Again, examples of many.
EDIT- A790 deleted his post while I was writing this.
I do believe that Trump is a patriot to his country. Which in this day and age of mechanization and artificial intelligence is probably the wrong way to be running things.
It would have been great in the 1950s though. That's not to say Trudeau is running things the right way either, but I do tend to like his stance on leisure and consumption vs production economy.
Putting a million man hours worth of productivity in jettisoning a 200 pound human being on the moon is definitely questionable productivity. Feeding 100 million people beyond obesity is also somewhat questionable (overconsumption) I personally think that the AI is quietly suberverting all governments on the planet, and will eventually come out the winner regardless of which human we end up voting for every four years. In many ways, the rise of Bitcoin is a vote against all world currencies and governments that back them.
I never particularily liked the US dollar, its built on too much death and nuclear fallout.
Nobody would trade Trudeau away for Trump. Regardless of how you feel about Trudeau, there is no comparison
Harvest box controversy growing:
Personally I always thought the EBT food stamp program created price distortions in the staple food market, even in Canada. In no small way, Canadas bread price fixing and dairy board practices can almost be blamed on the current US system of "Just give you US dollars that you can only buy food with, but you can buy whatever you want, including not eating any bread or milk". When you have 45 million people 300+ pound people buying soda and chips instead of milk and bread, it most definitely creates a ripple that is felt pretty much in every mouth around the planet.
"Let them eat government cheese" Trump and Maduro (not exact quote)
25% tariff on Steel 10% tariff on Aluminum.
Interesting article in the financial post today.

Best quote is : "Trump’s rising stock with the American public should puzzle no one: he has delivered and Americans are feeling good about themselves."
So regardless of his image, things seem to be working. Read the article for some statistical proof.
As for Steel and Aluminum:
Its not like anyone buys US products outside the US as is now. Making finished products more expensive because the base goods are more expensive will not hurt exports because it can't get any worse.
What it probably will do is cause a little bit of inflation locally within the US for hard goods, which is probably a good thing because as mentioned - they need bigger numbers in taxation and production and if its all a numbers game, just raise the numbers.
This in many ways is the "fix your own backyard" solution and it most definitely can work if done properly. Do not underestimate the US population when they become raving patriots, arguably they are on par with North Korea for productivity when sung a patriotic song. The US is more productive when they believe they are superior, which is perfectly fine by me for moving the world forward. US should be planning to land a man on Jupiter.
I’ll give trump credit that he has managed to keep the economy going in the same direction as it was when he inherited it, and he’s done a masterful job of taking credit for it, and managing to shrug off all possible criticisms for the things he lies about (various companies returning to America that flat out deny they are, saving coal despite a continuing loss of coal jobs)
It’ll be interesting to see how long he can keep this up. If they’re lucky they won’t have to skyrocket the debt until after the midterms but the more pessimistic Republicans are worried they’ll have to start cutting previously untouchable items like Medicaid and Social Security as early as this summer, which would be disastrous given how much of their base are retirees
Trump has got one huge thing going in his favor. It almost overrides everything else IMO. He has a finger on the "patriot" button of the USA.
It would never work in Canada, because as soon as you press the patriot button, it does the exact opposite of what was intended in Quebec.
