I have found it depends where you go to buy your stuff. In south Calgary there are so many shops that they generally don’t run out. Coop Cannabis on Macleod usually has a good selection. But in the SW there is currently literally one store, New Leaf on 37th and 17th. They get their shipment on Tuesday and it’s usually pretty slim pickings by Thursday/Friday. The Roxboro New Leaf across from the Safeway on Elbow gets their shipment on Friday so that’s usually a good bet for the weekend if you just want to buy a gram or two. It should get better in the SW with Coop Cannabis opening on Richmond Road, and Sweet Tree opening on 17th near the big liquor depot.

Supply shortages should ease and possibly turn into oversupply causing drastic price cuts within 1-2 years according to this article

I live in the SW and there are at least a half a dozen stores within 5-10 mins drive. I don't know if they're all new or not, but there are lots of options in the SW.

Where? I live over by MRU and there is only the New Leaf on 37th and 17th. Spirit Leaf is opening over on Bow Trail and Co-Op Cannabis is going into the space between the Richmond Road Co-Op and the Scotiabank.

Nova in Willow Park is really good, there's also a New Leaf in Mission, on McLeod trail there is a New Leaf, FOUR20, and Co-op cannabis, and in Canyon Meadows there is a Canna Cabana. Those are all SW.

If you're over by MRU you're really not that far from any of those except maybe Canna Cabana. It's rush hour right now so not a good time to look, but even with the traffic google maps says it's only 20 min from MRU all the way to Nova in Willow Park.

Willow Park isn’t technically in the SW. That’s why in my original post I had said South Calgary, Coop Cannabis Macleod, 420 Macleod, Nova Cannabis Willow Park.

I've noticed a ton of new stores around ton but are they stocked? Supply finally under control now?

On/off topic Went to MedMen in Vegas and was in heaven. Back home now and I'll still stick to the my Aphria. I've contemplated trying to quit this stuff but I'm so addicted to the point I don't think I can travel anywhere if it ain't legal. Gonna try to get some in Europe and not get in trouble

A friend of mine always travels with THC capsules in an Advil bottle, also filled with advil capsules of course, they look nearly identical. Just sayin...

Are you seriously addicted cuz that's not good. Was worried I was, went to Houston for a week, didn't even think about it. You can't get physically addicted to weed, mentally maybe.

Sorry, the post I was replying to you had said there was "literally one store" in the SW but there are several either in the SW or on the road that is the SW boarder. Just trying to help :)

looks like the AGLC AlbertaCannabis.org online store is closing as private retailers will be allowed to sell online starting March 8, 2022.

I still buy from Supherbs.

Especially for edibles. I think charging $8-9 for a 10mg gummy is ridiculous.

Anyone seen disposable pens lately? Seems like they're all out at the places I checked.
