Henry's going to have D500's for $2199 and D750's for $1799 on Black Friday. Very good prices for Canada.
Downtown Camera (Toronto) also has some good deals on Nikon Lenses, might be able to get TCS to match:
70-200/2.8FL: $3199
300/4 PF: $2299
14-24/2.8: $2099
Formatt Hitech is having a pretty good sale on their filter systems. "Black25" gets you 25% off but I was skimming some bloggers sites and found 35% off, I'm sure the bloggers get a cut but 35% is a pretty good deal. The 2 codes I found that offer 35% are "Dan35" and "Julia35". I think the deals are good till Dec 1
Ordered the firecrest 100mm holder and a bunch of filters.

Adobe is having a Cyber Monday sale if you require the whole suite. $480USD/yr vs. $600.
Looks like Robinson's Camera in Inglewood is closing and having a sale according to their website :(
Where am I supposed to get 120 film developed now??
do it at home, that is what I do.
Nikon 58 1.4 for $1750 (new)
I was sitting at a bar in Hawaii today on some shitty free wifi and I get an email from camelcamelcamel telling me the Nikon 20/1.8 dropped to $54. Sure enough a third party Amazon seller had it for that price and they had 8000 reviews with 99% positive feedback (usually when this happens it’s with a new seller with zero feedback). Saw they had the 24/1.8 for $45 so I ordered both. Prices are gone now but my orders weren’t cancelled...here’s hoping they actually honor their prices and ship them. I’m sure it was a mistake so I won’t be surprised if they cancel them and refund me instead haha. I am not sure what obligation Amazon sellers have to honour pricing. We will see!
Here's hoping it works out man!
I'll buy that 24mm from you. I can only give you $40 though cause it'll be used.
Oh and it better come with the box
Haha what if it was NIB?
Joking aside, I dug a little deeper and some people said the seller is claiming they got hacked so I’m guessing nothing will come of it. So far no word from them yet though.
UPDATE: Well, they refunded me and canceled my order after sending a poorly worded email missing full words asking me to do so myself. An anticlimactic ending I'm afraid.
Lord knows that if I had the ability to hack someones amazon account the first thing I would do was drastically under price an obscure lens that would be unlikely to be caught by anyone not specifically looking for it...ya know...just to say I could.
Hey guys, hoping it's okay to ask this here. I was looking to get some input before listing my camera for sale.
What is a realistic asking price for this mirror less camera?

Godox AD200 is a lightning deal on amazon. It's a hell of a flash.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06X1FBC3F/...T70BDBPBJEXCT2
Correct, or you can use a good old fashioned 3.5mm cable. Receiver is built into the flash.
Edit: I think I have one of the old basic receivers that will work with these that I'm not using.
Nikon rebates should be out soon. Keep an eye out!
The D500 is $1999 which is an absolute bargain if anyone is in the market.
70-200 FL also down to $2799 again.
D7500 is $999, that is $700 off
Tomorrow is the last day for Canon's discounts. Nothing spectacular.
But particularly of note that I just noticed today, the Canon EOS R is $500 off from most shops, but Vistek has the EOS R, PLUS the EF adapter with the control ring for $2499. That's 500 off plus a the adapter is $250 ish.
Decent deal. No stock in Calgary, but available on-line, and in other cities.
Panasonic G9 is down to $1300 for the body at The Camera Store. Given last week's firmware update I think it's a great deal and will be hoping to pick it up when I'm next in Canada.
https://www.thecamerastore.com/12772...C-G9-Body.aspx
I've really enjoyed my G7 over the 5D MKII for travel given the size and weight. G9 is a bit bigger but despite the minor loss in IQ, low light performance, and crop factor compared to a full-frame, I think it's a bargain.
Any recommendations re mirrorless camera deals I should jump on this boxing week?
This isn't really a gear recommendation thread and it really depends on what kind of mirrorless camera you're after.
If you're looking for a budget camera and are okay with a micro four-thirds sensor, I think this G7 package is a screaming buy: https://www.thecamerastore.com/12538...-45-150mm.aspx
30% off Nik Collection 3 for a few more days. I'm trying to upgrade but they can't seem to find my account :guns:

For those still using CF cards, B&H has a decent sale on the 64GB version (other capacities on sale too).

Holy shit, the only cameras I have that use CF cards are my 5D Mark I and Fujifilm S5 Pro.
