God damnit, I just started to be able to see my lawn haha. At least the 25-30cm is now looking like 10-15cm, according to the Weather Network anyway. Hopefully isn't too bad.
Right now still running the Goodyear Wrangler A/T's (https://www.goodyear.ca/en-CA/tires/...rain-adventure). I've actually been pretty happy with them over the past month! They're ofcourse nowhere near what I had on the WRX, but adjusting my driving behavior for the conditions is almost equally as important as good tires IMO. I haven't had any troubles so far and I'm almost at 5,000km's but this is only the third opportunity I've had to really drive it in the snowy conditions.
Some SCS Wheels are en-route pretty soon here and then I'm looking at the KO2's or Geolanders.. undecided yet.
The drive this morning wasn't bad @ 6am from NE -> Quarry Park on Stoney. Only 2 cars in the ditch along the way and took the usual 25 mins. Got the work from home email this morning though!
Drive downtown is typical winter driving. Slow and slippery at intersections.
I think everyone needs to check their furnaces and shit for next Friday. Forecast looks truly awful!

It's perfectly fine with any winter tires. Fuck the people on shitty tires prodding along shortcut routes, cutting in then slowing down, unable to merge because they can't accelerate. We should quarantine all season tires.
I drove downtown today, left Kincora around 7 and crossed the Center street bridge at 7:25am. No issues at all on the commute, but I am on studded hakkas and have AWD.
So how about that rain lol.
smelled so nice - also snow melting fast now
Every spring, every time there's a forecast of substantial rain, it is reduced or delayed and I cry. Love rain in the springtime, or really almost any time of year.
Phil Collins probably has a song about spring rain.
Big snowfall coming. It's large sideways flakes in Airdrie right now.
It was like whiteout in Airdrie 30 mins ago.
I guess the nice thing about never ending winter is the delay to airdrie’s hail season?
