I am off right now with our 3 week old. Took a good chunk of time off work this time around. Baby sleeping on my chest right now. Life is good.

I'm taking a month off when our second is born (end of November).

a) Work break will be nice.
b) I'm sure it will be a shit show at home.
c) Why not. They really do grow up so damn fast. Once you're past the first couple/several month there aren't nearly as much sleep snuggles.

Good luck dude. It ain't easy thats for sure. Lots of good info in this thread or ask away. Take peoples suggestion, try them and if it doesn't work try something else.

Mine is 7 weeks old. Finally flipped the day and night confusion and sleeping more than 3 hours between feed at night.
Day time is a different story. Not willing to nap more than an hour at a time.
