Trade every player over 24 for picks or pucks I don't care. . Every fucking one.
This is hard to watch... The Ottawa Senators, the same team that got rekted by every other team in the divison...
I've given up caring.
I feel way better off for it.
Ive read up on a lot Flames' history, but I've never heard of any kind of curse (kind of the like Boston Red Sox)...but sometimes I DO wonder. It just blows my mind. We won that one cup back in 89 but since then it's been ridiculous. I mean, we literally lost the cup on a bad call (that thing was in). After that, year after year, we sign these big names and expectations are high and then we find someway to end up being a shit team again. Makes no sense to me. I'm still convinced there's some sort of curse we don't know about.
Look on the bright side though, we could be the Canucks and have NEVER won a cup...I think they're one of the few franchises left that have a reasonably long history but haven't won a championship.

so many things to do nowadays, hard to justify watching the Flames if they aren't good.

I feel with Sutter as the coach now, they HAVE to make him happy...and that means starting to actually get rid of players that he sees as part of the problem. Don't worry guys, it'll happen, Sutter isn't go to take any shit I really believe it.
