Where's the worst roll out ever group lately? Liberals fucking us not fitting the narative?
I was referring to the people who said it was the ucp who were imbeciles. Wanted to highlight its not the roll out thats important to them, its only important to hate the ucp.
Not a productive post I will admit.
That chart is off. It shouldn't be per 100,000 but per 100. 10% of the USA approx.

Pot calling kettle black when it comes to blind hate.
The question is, market forces basically say it's not worthwhile to have a vaccine facility in Canada. So what kind of gov $ we should throw at this problem if people thinks this is now a need and not a want.
Canada has received 1.25 million doses so far, next week we're set to get 336k Pfizer doses. Regardless of finger pointing that'll be the start of things moving a lot quicker thankfully.
All signs point to Pfizer meeting their obligations, despite all the negative media they are still on track to deliver their 4mm doses by end of March. 70k this week, 336k next week, 395k the following week which puts Pfizer at 1.65mm at the end of Feb. With 400k/week that'd put them at 3.4mm (4.5 weeks in March for shipments) but the shipments are supposed to continue growing past 400k/week so should be doable.
Moderna on the other hand ... I don't have much faith. 340k to date and next shipment (Feb 22nd) was supposed to be 250k but they already said it'll be less than that. Hard to imagine they'll go from ~500k total at the end of the month to magically 2mm in one month with them still missing deadlines.
Still, 4 million doses is basically every health care worker, plus a good chunk of other "first priority" people.
So with the additional vaccines on the horizon, more global info, etc., who are the respective front-runners for the "so effective you could lick door handles and toilet bowls in China with relative impunity" or "some kind of covid super autism even though we said it was safe" titles? Ol' JT would love it if a far better one came along the majority could have access to. Just play it off as shrewd vacc-cumen!
Also, does anyone else think Buster is like some sort of bizarro world Kert? All the rebuttals except offered with clear, focused intelligence laced with pleasing hints of social skills?
The numbers I posted are the latest updates by the federal government that Pfizer has provided. The size of shipments is set to increase now that the plant delays are over (as they always were set to increase), and given that we are due to receive 20mm doses of Pfizer in Q2 which works out to 1.5mm per week, it's pretty likely they can finish March making up the remaining 600k doses over 4.5 weeks of shipments.

How about we all get one dose, then we can open everything up again, and worry get another first dose, plus the second when it's available? Haven't we ordered triple our population from all the manufacturers?
random thoughts:
- still no hints as to what restrictions a vaccine will lift for a person, eg. allow flights to canada, no mask, etc. Might not see anything about this until fall, at this rate.
- some people might have to get multiple C19 vaccines if one is shown to be ineffective or less effective, especially against newer variants; zero studies done on the possible ramifications.
The rate at which Canada is being vaccinated is terribly poor.
Laughable considering how Trudeau touts the vaccine program.
I can see the US leveraging the lack of vaccination in Canada against us.
