Nice action! I saw one at the bike show awhile and thought it looked great for a "starter bike".
No one will tell you to get a big kid bike looking at that!
Although, you will...
I've owned a Shiver and they are a great bike, but I wouldn't own it as a first bike.
Because of the nature of a parallel twin engine it makes the bike very torquey. Although it's very fun to...
I'd wait for a demo days for the F800st. It was a great looking bike until I rode. Very comfortable, very smooth and thus very boring to ride.
I'll be headign there on Saturday with a couple of buddies. I'm looking at upgrading my bike and I'm torn between a bunch of models.
It will be great to throw my leg over a few of them to get a...
I've had my '10 GTi for 2.5 years and have had 0 problems. I haven't tracked the car yet nor do I plan on it. However I do aggressively drive in the city and back roads (love highway 1A between Banff...
Dammit, I really want to get out with you guys, but I have a soccer game tonight @ 6:30. :banghead:
'09 Aprilia Shiver 750 - NW in Evanston
I missed this as I just got back from holidays, I'd be in next time for sure!
I agree with what Graham said in regards to the 250, however I'd still consider it. I had mine for five months then sold it for $200 more then I bought it for.
Maybe I got lucky in selling it,...
I agree with everything people above have stated. I'd suggest getting a smaller bike to start with (like a Ninja 250r) as they quite a bit lighter and easier to use and are excellent to rip around...
I'd also consider an older Audi A4.
Just be prepared for the servicing cost. Expect to spend several hundred every time to take it in. With would be the same for an of the cars mentioned in this...
I found with my Bell helmet & any Shiver it was too loud (distracting). I use sound isolating earbuds that go over my ear (stays in place when sliding on my helmet) that still allows me to hear...
Me too, I find riding an escape from work/wife/life. I don't really want to be that plugged in or distracted while riding. Blast some tunes and enjoy the ride!
I was somewhat disappointed that they didn't show Smaug at all.
I put mine away last weekend when I also changed over my summer tires on my car. It was a sad, sad day for me.
I found it was getting too cold in the morning to bother anymore. I don't really...
They'll make you do it in Jamaica as well. It's standard test that PADI requires for your Open Water Certification.
I'd suggest taking the lessons locally as then you're not in a hurry or...
That poor M3!
Find what type of head shape you have and that will help you harrow your search down. Once you figure out what shape head you have (oval, intermediate oval or round) then review some websites...
I've seen this Roush 'Stang before. The sound is incredible coming from that car!
This thread also confirms that Calgarians have too much money to spend on toys!
The sweet part was she actually pretty hot. I couldn't get a photo without creeping too much!
This alone isn't a big deal, but the licence plate made it magic. Got to love a chick ith a sense of humor! (Sorry about the crappy cell phone pic)
...
Fair comment, I was hoping to kind of have a one bike fits-at-all. I don't want to get into the habit of flipping bikes every year or so.
BTW, a specials thanks to Cos as I was able to meet up...
Currently have a Ninja 250 that I've been ripping around the city for the past year. I'm now at the point where I want to upgrade. I've gone on several demo rides including the Ducati Monster 696,...
$26,495 plus tax, delivery & dealer fees...
RSV4 Blakcfoot Price
I assume that you work there? If so is this list the complete list of items on sale? I'm looking for the Ogio NoDrag, I see the LessDrag on sale, I don't want to come down if it's not on sale?

I thought I might pass this on to those looking for new gear:
Bow Cycle - Large & In Charge Sale
No I'm not affiliated with Bow Cycle, just looking out for fellow Beyonders looking for a good...
As stated above, I have a Ninja 250 and find myself starting to look at bigger bikes.
I've done a few demo days as I'm not too sure what my next bike will be...
That being said I have NO...
Since Bono & the boys are sponsored by Blackberry I'm sure they don't mind if you take crappy pictures with your phone.
In fact they encourage recording their live shows and distributing them...
Yup, Amazing show. When I heard they were coming to Commonwealth again I had to get tickets. The Popmart tour in there last times was still one of the top two or three shows I've seen! ...
I'm not interested in the Scala set, I don't really like the big boom mic sticking out in front of your face, however I'd be very interested in the new Uclear set:
Uclear Review
Can you get a...
Holy bump of an old thread! Play the second game, it's WAY better then the first one.
I agree 100%, except I'll admit that I wouldn't want to take my 250 Ninja out to Banff. It's great for ripping around town and learning, but I wouldn't feel comfortable on it on the open highway,...
I recently purchased a Ninja 250 simply for the reason that i wanted to get back into riding and not scare that crap out of myself everytime I get on the bike.
I'm 6'0 tall and 195 lbs, I've...
What about something like a WRX wagon? Good fun car to drive, lot's of room and space to put that big assed stroller in the back.
OUr family has a Murano for the kid moving and I drive a GTi for...
Thanks man, I love to go for a rip in a couple of weeks once I get my "bike legs" back and I can get some of the maintance items completed as I do live in the NW.
So after a 10 year hiatus from riding, I bit the bullet and got a '09 Ninja 250 this past weekend. It was fun to get out on the road a bit, too bad the weather sucked!
Now I need to take a bit of...
