Book. Example is that mine expires/renews every July and we booked our vacation for this Christmas back in May using our companion voucher, and then it renewed in July.
Just to add (and this may seem obvious) but if any part of your WJ booking is operated by another carrier, you can't use your companion voucher for the booking but you can use your WJ dollars. I...
I'll be signing up for the spring 100k, ..get something on the calendar to keep me in check over the winter!
That was a good fun. I think I screwed up at breakfast though and didn't eat enough as I felt like I was lagging and playing catchup the whole ride. Man.. those guys at the front had solid pace....
those are sweet.
lol I was literally just thinking about putting hot water in my bottles.. hmm.
I'll be wearing a similar setup. I've got the cold temperature covered, only real issue will be if it rains hard which is not expected (at the moment).
In previous events I've done the same in...
yup, will ride on Thursday, should be good for Saturday.
I run a small bag behind the saddle - similar to this:
80027
usually stash some food in there, tube, air tube, rain gear. Not ideal, but works. Good to know there will be items at the aid stations....
I forgot and just bought a bunch of stuff yesterday.. no worries though, I'm sure i'll find something to buy :)
quickly organize a corporate challenge ride? With the training you've been doing/posting on Strava I can't see you having any issues.. This weekend is my last weekend for a long ride as the...
sounds good, definitely planning to fill bottles with tablets+water during the ride. I've been using chamois crème on longer rides for a bit now, lifesaver. :)
Nice one - I need to get out after work and get on with it.. Hydration and food is my biggest area of concern for the 160.. all the other rides i've done have supplied food/lunch/dinner and so on....
cheers for the info, I ended up picking up some Gatorskins - looking at the weight they were heavier than other tires I looked at, but then I googled the standard ones that came on the bike and these...
Nice
this morning's ride was a bust - got 16km in and got a puncture. Kit I had with me had an empty canister, Wife didn't pick up the phone so slow 16km back home :banghead: - shame as...
Heading out for a ride tomorrow, going to try and get 100km in. Def haven't trained as much as I'd have liked but makes the event more challenging I guess.
Hoping to get up and out by 7,...
I signed up for the 160k. Usually do the Conquer Cancer ride but couldn't make it this year and wanted something to work towards. First time doing over 100k in a day, so looking forward to it. I've...
Luckily not been laid off, tons of layoffs at my place though and separately my industry (IT) is going through some change too. We got some projects approved this year though so tons to do.. I'll...
I was on internet 30/5 with Shaw, so much better, will post a speedtest later when I get home but so far so good. Didn't get much of a chance yesterday evening to fully check it out (newborn etc)..
TELUS showed up last night and got everything installed so we're up and running
Turns out the 'copper' TELUS cable that is coiled in my basement actually has fibre in it too if you...
totally agree, I laugh a bit more at GT for the antics, but last night's TG had me excited and totally engrossed during the Alfa and 911/Huracan segments.
Just watched episode 2 of season 24 and given that they're only 2 episodes in with the new, new format I think they've got a great thing going - Harris does a good job of commentating while doing the...
latest Sorrento looks pretty good inside. We cross-shopped this and the Santa Fe and I prefered the Sorrento. Explorer is also something we looked at.
If you aren't in a complete rush, you could...
good to know, thanks.
This is what I half-suspect they're going to offer. If they say they are going to do bonded vDSL to get me up to 100 i'll just leave it, the point of me switching was fibre straight to my basement.
that sucks. My assumption is it will take several visits, as they are going to have to trench the fibre into my home from the alleyway and that will require someone else coming out and...
I know! I'll have to let my Wife know she can start camming in 4k :bigpimp:
I phoned them up to confirm, they said it's available for my address (PureFibre) so I signed up. Tech is scheduled for next week
Gives me time to do some research on whether TELUS...
My apologies, I'm possibly using incorrect terminology (compared to what I'm used to elsewhere, where FTTC is new(er), and older runs were fibre to the exchange) but basically, my question was just...
I thought I'd just add my questions here rather than starting a new thread, but I recently had a TELUS guy at my door saying they've added Fibre in my area (McKenzie Towne). My assumption is if i...
lol at this. If you aren't Canadian, I think you always get some of your finger prints taken as an identify measure and/or to update their records.
(UK Citizen, always get photo and some prints...
nice, thanks for the info - Furnace was new in 2010 so maybe they just wired it for high or something. I'll take a look
Has anyone modified their furnace fan so that it has multiple speed settings? Basically, I have a developed basement and generally it's fine, but always cooler. It's at its coldest when the outside...
Some distant 'friend' on facebook has started with this hair product stuff and apparently it's going 'really well'. Posted photos of her down in the states at some conference and apparently now she's...
Thanks i'll check them out. I'm pretty sure 18" is the lowest I can go according to other forum posts and Tirerack.
Morning,
I pulled the trigger on a 2016 Edge (Titanium) yesterday. It has the 20" wheels and now I'm looking for winter wheel/tire setup - My understanding is I can go as low as 18".
Anyone have...
I plug the TDI in on a timer, comes on at 3am for my 6am departure. Doesn't need it, but it definitely helps in the morning, both in warm-up time and raising it from it's slumber
10 minutes in to ep3 and it's already much better than last weeks
they blow it up
yeah Cisco isn't seeing growth in their hardware sector as much and are trying to break into other areas and push SDN, cloud DC and their hosted collaboration offerings (with Spark, WebEx, HCS)....
