PM'd, I've got a d16y8 block and head available. I wouldn't assume it's a valve issue unless proven with a leak down test.. either way it's probably cheaply replaced or rebuilt.

pull the vac tube off the fuel pressure regulator (block tube) and go for a drive. Seems like it might not be giving proper pressure under vacuum but fuel pressure increases enough under boost to run...

I've done it with a straight up dremel bit by hand and it turned out fine. re balanced the wheels though. Basically made no difference to balance because the material removed is so close to the axis...

This is a throttle position sensor type symptom... probe the middle wire with a needle using your mutimeter to test voltage from the wire to ground. Looking for 0.5v at closed throttle I think....

Yup fluid flows from bleeder after every pump and hold cycle. Reservoir drops with pumping and has been filled repeatedly already without emptying and letting air into system.
