1 year suspension for injurying people badly and writing off a car is nothing... I thought in situations like that, you're supposed to face 5 year suspensions.

I was asking for a judgement on the lawyer, more so then the situation. I won't go into the details of what happened. I'm not justifying it completely, but obviously every story has two sides to it....

It is for someone else, close to me... but how could you judge the situation if you weren't even there? I never said the person was actually impaired, they were just accused of being impaired.
