I have an air compressor and air tools but they've pretty much been replaced by my Milwaukee Fuel impact. The one I have has 700 ft-lb of torque. Having no cord or hose hanging behind you is...
it looks like an Atwood tank with the plastic plug. You should buy a new plug, they aren't expensive. The plastic ones are kind of meant to sacrifice themselves over time to protect the threads.

I love the Nordegg area but it's not for everyone. Lots of natural hikes and waterfalls, lakes. Not much for development though ie. no walmarts or even stores.
We usually camp but we've stayed...
Horseshoe Lake is pretty cool to see some cliff diving. Won't catch me anywhere near Athabasca falls, too many people... the path is paved FFS. I like Sunwapta falls much better, especially if you...
I work on my own as well. I get all my stuff online or from western pump, they have pretty good prices and they have almost any part.
x?, also seem to experience this much more than I ever did. I do carry a generator (a Honda) but we rarely ever use it. I really don't understand why people need to run them all day. I really wish...
For some reason mine is termpermental the first time in the season. The house fan will come on but the outside unit will not. I'll try it again later and it will then start up. Only seems to be the...
Well not sure you can get one with wifi for $50. I didn't buy it to save money on heating costs... I think that would take forever. I like the functionality and the whiz bang factor but no I didn't...
I just got one and quite like it so far. I like the remote capabilities but that's also available on others.
I also like the 'auto-away' functionality that detects if the house is empty and...
I'm no expert but my rudimentary understanding is this.
As a general rule the non-inverter generators are noisier. They don't have an inverter to convert the power so they have a constant rpm...
I was in the same situation. I went with the Lincoln 140. It's still a homeowner series with a pretty low duty cycle but at least you can hook gas up to it. It quite often goes on sale for ~$450 but...
It's pretty good, only the main shower rooms are open the other bathrooms are closed, but we had power and lots of firewood so we had a fire every night. We actually use the bus service into town,...
We went camping on the family day weekend, we just went to Tunnel mountain. I hate the campground but they stay open year round and it's close to Banff so lots to do. I may go to Maclean this...
I'd also remove that piercing saddle valve and plumb in a proper valve. Although it will be a real pain to do in your case because the pierced the copper pipe. If you look at the blow up of your...
You should probably tell them that you have a Condensation problem not Condensate.
I think I got parts from Benner (not sure if that's the name though) on edmonton trail, just south of Mcknight.
They're all stupid low, My truck is over 7'... it won't even fit in my home garage. It's stock, no lift or anything (F350)
maybe but it seems unnecessary, the suspicion is that the TV likely already has one on the incoming voltage. These tv's are so cheap that it's an affordable experiment.
PS, none of this is my...
^ exactly, I wouldn't run anything I cared about off of one of those cheap inverters. Also the more over capacity the inverter is the more power you waste doing the dc > ac conversion.
If we...
I dry camp a lot so I wanted a 12V TV. 12v tv's are stupid expensive though and hard to find locally. After some looking around I found that some of the cheaper small led tv's have external power...
It seems like we get killed around Calgary/Airdrie. I have family in Strathmore that only pay$250 a year for storage.
I'm in the storagemart lot by the Airdrie airport.
I'm looking into...
I would never use a needle valve personally, Pretty easy to put a proper valve in.
I did mine myself, it sucked... would not recommend. The screws are crazy small.
Never had a single issue with our 2003 Liberty until recently when it started downshifting into 2nd harshly (for some reason it doesn't do it if OD is locked out, no idea why that has anything to do...
If you do upgrade, there's no good reason to get a 250. The 350 is the same truck (very little difference) but is rated higher and will be easier to sell.
I have the 350 diesel, it tows like a...
I take my batteries out of the trailer and put them on my work bench. I then charge them once a month. I pesonally would never trust the trailer charger enough to leave them plugged in all winter.

I have dual 6v's I think they are even heavier with the heavier plates.
Mine is fed off the tap so I built an adapter to fit the hose bib and blow it out with my air compressor. Been doing it this way for years and never had a problem.
looks like interlakes, I've always wondered how hard it is to get a spot there. We went to Nordegg and off to Banff this weekend.
That doesn't sound too bad. You may be a bit over depending on how much you put in the bed and which half ton but certainly not terrible.
I wouldn't worry too much about it in Alberta but I have...
What's the gvw and pin weight? That looks like a pretty big trailer for a 1/2 ton.
1/2 tons have the power and towing capacity but the pin weight can be an issue
I think I'd run from that dealer if I saw them fixing a roof on a brand new trailer. I know lots of people with trailers and I don't know anyone that's had to take it in for warranty work.
Maybe...
you should buy mine lol, less than half of that one.
kijiji link
edit, I just noticed that you're not entertaining used.
I'm surprised you need a warranty, I've never had anything done to...
Just 8000k, no problems yet. Just about due for first oil change
^ that's pretty much my exact truck except mine's a 2012. I got mine for quite a bit less than that price though, $52k I believe. You can pay that much for a loaded half ton anymore.
I also have...
My truck is 800 ft/lb and it's stock. I think H+S got it up to 1600 or something ridiculous.
Just saw this vid the other day, 4 wheel burnout

The other advantage of diesel is that since most of them are turbo charged you don't lose half your horsepower at higher elevations.
I have no problem towing my 11k 5th wheel up the mountain...
propane tanks have two connections, internal threads which require a 7/8" wrench to install. The newer style is attaches to the external threads on the tank and is tightened by hand.
If it was me...
I love my diesels, they are definately more expensive to maintain and to buy but if you ever towed with one you'd understand.
The best I've seen empty is 14L/100 and towing the 5th wheel or with...
