Yah it is, it's a courtyard style house with more of a side yard than a traditional back yard so it's a pretty efficient use of space and we're happy with it.

Yah, needs to be a full on gate, he'd be up and over a bed rail in seconds. I don't mind putting in a few small holes, can always put some wood putty on them when the gate needs to come off.
