Theres a newer firmware that seems to iron this out. Mine have been solid since I updated. I also did an IP reservation for them on my router to ensure they stay connected using their current IP.

Basically just be weary of chain noise, and replace when you get even a hint of it. Also go with the melling high volume oil pump. that apparently solves a ton of issues.
