I meant a dealer in Japan. The cars were all inspected, test driven and approved before being shipped. No nasty auction surprises.
THE PRICE IS INCLUDING ALL BODY WORK REPAIRED - BOOKED INTO SHOP IN 3 WEEKS
WILL TAKE AROUND $14,000 AS IS
Yup, final stage resistor failure is a very common problem. Also the blower motors tend to pack up with age and start doing all sorts of funny things.
I brought the car in myself - not from an auction, got it through a dealer.

Flasher relay is one of the most common failure. It is located in the fuse box panel by the drivers side. Check that first
I would not recommend you to do so. If the timing belt skips a tooth you will bend / break all the valves and cause some serious grief to yourself.
So did they replace the tensioners ?
Exaclt why i am saying that the tensioners should be checked first. Most people are to price orientated and do not focus on the work being done - just what it is going to cost. Right on
Very common problem on the earlier Eclipse engines was the timing belt hydraulic tensioner collapsing and it makes a hell of a racket - sounds a lot like rod bearings - i would check that first
Sorry buddy they are Dealer specific only. Even if someone did have them they would more than likely not have the updates for them - all online and daily / nightly updated.
What exactly do you...
Did you by any chance hit anything - might be a damaged wss or broken / damaged harness
Sounds like a wheel bearing, tyre related noise. Get it checked out
