Yup, all fuses have been checked already, and so have the connections. All that is fine.

And to be clear, the engine never actually tried to turn over, I just heard a click when I turn the key...

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's my Compustar alarm/starter that has gone haywire. Now it won't even let me start the car.

What was happening:
- car batteries kept dying, as in not be able...

My MR-2 is now dead, but it's an electrical problem of some kind.

I need an experienced and knowledgable car electrical specialist to help me out.

Does anyone know of someone? please help!

I think I encountered this guy on 17th @ Westside. I was heading westbound in my MR2 (as I was trying to get it home having literally just taken it out of winter storage) and this guy rolls up to me...

looks like as soon as I replaced my battery the issue went away

Well, I have the battery and will get it exchanged since it's only a year or so old (3 yr replacement warranty).

I'll check into the thermostat.
