Gotta second that motion, the trannys are all pretty much the same shifter...till you get to the z32/rb25/rb26 tranny....they have a different shifter setup.

and if not, clean the connection to the airflow meter...the thing that your air filter box connects to, its silver and has a plug on it, a wide one with about 6 wires
