The dealers have done a parasitic drain inspection, but I remain skeptical.
Thanks for the link - I drive the car three or four times a week so my car is well used. I have a driveway and can do a plug in.
I recently heard about this. Hope you can fix it.
It does seem ridiculous. I will try another dealer or find the money to see if another mechanic can find the problem :banghead:
So the battery maintainer is installed permanently under the hood and it just plugs in like a block heater? All I have to do is plug the car in? I do not have a garage.
Can anyone explain how the battery maintainer is used. I assume it cannot be installed. I don't have a garage. If I have to open my hood and to attach and detach clamps everyday that seems a tad...
Update:
I brought the car back to the dealership. They once again replaced the battery (no charge, which I appreciated). They were unable to find a parasitic draw. I was told to drive the car...
Well I had to fight with the dealership to get them to replace the battery. They basically send that it was my fault for not starting the car everyday.... I will talk with them about it again and see...
Thanks for the responses.
I replaced the battery last February, because it was doing the same thing so I don't believe this is a problem with the battery, and yeah not driving the car for a few...
The battery on my CX3 goes dead unless I start it or drive it just about everyday. This is what I was told by my Mazda dealer. This seems to happen mostly in the winter.
Obviously with COVID and...
Thanks. Those responses could explain things. Maybe it was always a slight fisheye view but somehow the camera moved and it is now more pronounced. I can even see my license plate and that is most...
I did check the manual and there are no instructions. Its a head scratching mystery:confused: for sure. One day its a regular view... the next day fish eye. I'll keep trying to reach the service...
Thanks. There is a setting icon on the display. When you go into it, there are four choices ( i.e. tint, brightness,) but none relate to changing camera view, 🙁
I drive a 2019 CX3 and after taking it in to have my winter tires put on, I noticed my rear camera is now showing a fisheye view when I back up.
I called the dealer but they haven't called me...
Anyone have any experience or feedback regarding these two vehicles. My daughter is looking for a smallish crossover.
I don't know much about car mechanics but I am wondering:
Are there are any real advantages of an AWD for winter and if so, what would these be?
What is the difference between all season and...
I find the mazda 3 sport (2008) doesn't hold the road as well as I would like on the highway and especially down Lethbridge way with the high winds there. I had a Honda Accord years ago and it felt...
Great suggestions all. I liked the CX3 but that is actually too light - lighter than the mazda 3 sport that I have already.
Ideally I want something with a bit more weight than the Mazda 3 sport...
Believe me - I thought about the Juke as it is the right size, but I dont care for the style...
I am looking for a car with more weight and stability than my 2008 mazda 3 sport, but something that is not too big... I am considering the crosstrek and the mazda cx5 - something more corssovery...
I am looking into the CHR and wondered if anyone has any experience with this vehicle. On the up side, it looks like it is the right size for me as I like smaller vehicles. On the down side there is...
Thanks zhao... looks can be deceiving. CX3 is out.
Thanks all for the advice - really appreciated the info eblend and the subaru seems very nice amd worth checking out////
Zhao - the curb weight is the same for the Mazda 3 sport and the CX3? Well...
Good advice - I do have winter tires - a must have on a Mazda 3 sport. Not sure how much taller the Mazda CX3 is for example.... I am a fairly experienced winter driver (40 years) but wouldn't AWD...
I will check out the Subaru - my brother has one and I understand they are pretty good. I do plan to keep the vehicle for as long as possible, I actually wouldn't even be considering trading in the...
Looks like I will be needing to do a lot more highway driving for a recent promotion that I received - including winter diving. I drive along Alberta highways - which can be windy....I currently have...
