Always good when a thread actually results in a car purchase, well done OP.
Thanks. Ours is a doodle
Sadly, this one hit very close to home. This past Saturday afternoon I was walking my dog, on-leash, near a playground in my community with my wife and young kids. An off leash pitbull (bully breed?)...
Who doesn't love a good knob  Such a shame that VW put this plastic fantastic crap knob on from the factory.

I really hope nobody is surprised by this. When a tax is collected, sprinkled with a bit of ineptitude and bureaucracy, then redistributed, what other outcome could there be?
Race Room was awesome, they had some very high-end sim equipment, I think tracksvr still uses belt driven thrustmaster wheelbases. Though that's obviously perfectly adequate for some people.
I'd likely be in, I also have some track/autocross buddies that dabble in iRacing, some of whom are beyond members that would likely also be in.
Let me know what sort of format you're thinking?...
I was assuming a GX Overtrail ($95,826) and LC Premium ($83,290) would be "comparable"? If so, that extra $12.5K isn't that big of a stretch to get the Lexus niceties and the V6 TT. :dunno:
Gross, makes the GX seem like a better buy for not that much more money.
Yup, saw a lady in the Brookfield +15 today, steady stream of folks signing. Signed as well of course.
Where are all those EV's that we have to all buy in 10 years going to drive? Oh wait....
He went on to warn that electric vehicles — the beating artificial heart of Liberal climate action — are...
On a black vehicle to boot, that's wild. Which coating did you use?
Sadly, when this inevitably doesn't get enough signatures, she's just going to pull a Trudeau and spin it to say that the citizens of Calgary are again giving her a mandate to govern
The F22 240i can be found with a stick shift but I think they're pretty rare, twincamturbo on here owned one.
Pretty annoying, luckily it's fixed with a $50 part that installs in 2 minutes.
When my wife is pulling into the garage, due to the incline of the driveway it can be a bit tricky to see how large the gap is to the car beside. So the mirror just helps her a bit.
Winter mode, just in time for 10°C + days.
Doing my part to #savethemanuals with both of these cars :burnout:

Yah Toyota fiddled with a an existing ZF Gearbox already developped for BMW.
""The parts used in the gearbox come from a combination of ZF manufactured manual transmissions, but the parts...
The Supra's MT is better than the MT's in the M2's I've driven. But still nothing compares to something like a Tremec T6060 or even whatever gearbox is in the FK8 CTR.
I think the OG M2 is a great car, I've driven a couple of them in a very spirited manner and have come away impressed. Confidence inspiring at the limit, easy to throttle steer, great brakes. I've...
Not really unfortunately, you could always check for broken clips on the connectors to the MAF, MAP, Turbo Speed Sensor and whatever else the JB intercepts.
haha fair, correction it is.
Only comparing it to what people were trying to sell OG M2's for last year.
If anyone is looking for an M2, this actually seems reasonable. Another positive sign for used car prices.

As someone that works at another midstream company and has seen firsthand what they pay PM's to jump over there, I beg to differ.
The plan must be to stall until Trump wins and hope there will be a third kick at the KXL can
People working on the project are starting to realize the gravy train is very quickly approaching its final stop.
Check back with me in a few weeks. Engine break-in is 1000km, so it'll take me a while.
The old one was kinda meh at the limit, even with better wheel/tires and a stiff rear bar. But as a fun...
I was actually just barely under $50K before tax :burnout:
Edit: before GST and dealer fees.
Yah it’s shocking how much more they cost in the US. It’s almost the same amount in USD as we pay up here in CAD.
I dealt with a few but ended up buying from Okotoks VW. It was a no-nonsense transaction. PM me if you'd like to know the guy I dealt with there and I'll split the referral with you :)
Every DI engine will be to some extent, but it won't be nearly as bad as the N54's were.
From what I understand, the small grace period they had to sell cars before having to pay carrying costs was taken away during Covid due to ultra-low inventory, and hasn't come back. So, you'd think...
You mean an engine in a sports car that loses oil pressure mid corner isn't normal?
Seeing as the average transaction price for a new vehicle in Canada was over $63K last year that doesn't surprise me

Wife’s car.
hahah you remembered. Yes it sure does, those tires are pretty shit in the winter though. Swapping wheels over tonight.
