Probably the thermostat opening too early / weak. Would need to do temperature checks on the hoses to confirm. Most likely the thermostat.

Hmm, I wonder why he's called this...Interesting concept.

OOPS! Wow, that must have sucked.
Yep, first time posting photos here. Thanks for the welcome! Amazing photos you guys have posted. Thanks for sharing.
A few over the last year and a half or so that I managed to capture. I'm more of a nightscape , storm chaser kinda guy.

For some reason, this car reminded my of the old eagle 4x4's..

Lol, someone beat me to it.. NM.
That doesn't make any sense at all...That's like saying put any 5w40 oil in my tdi, as long as it's 5w40.
Or just get G13 coolant.
I bought one because of this thread and looked into it. Hardwired it into my jetta with a piggy back mini fuse. I used a test light to find out which fuse had power to it when only the car was on as...
Not a huge issue, but you can't fire it up and have your windows defrosted 10 minutes later and a warm car. Not much a difference in consumption from the older models to the mk5. I'd rather have the...
Funny you mention this, last year I drove a 1999 grand prix 3.8 all winter, paid $700 for it and got rid of it in spring. Highway it yielded me about 9-10 L / 100 kms and was actually a comfy ride.
Right now my TDI costs exactly the same as driving my 2006 Saabaru 92x awd (Forsale btw). 7 cents per km. The TDI takes forever to warm up and is stinky. Pick your poison.
Tempted to sell the TDI...
I have a Calcana heater in my garage, 15' and love it. Our attached garage is 36'x24' and works well enough for me. Very cheap to use as well! If you don't let the garage get too cold, it won't take...
Moved from Evanston to Langdon 7 years ago, never looked back. Takes less time to get downtown than it does Evanston.
Thanks all, I'll check them out !
Anyone keep getting nailed from customs for Cigars as of late? Last 2 packages have been tagged.... Bummed out. 20 cigars out of Arizona, Canada post tagged an extra $300 on them ( $66 us for the...
Also depends why your cats are failing. Emissions warranty won't cover failed cats due to engine misfire (P03xx) codes. If the car is not driveable, I can only assume it was misfiring to the point...
LOL! What does the note on the side of the window say? Hope you get someone to give you a hand. I would help if I lived in the area.
What kind of truck is this?
25L/100 KM hwy.
8.1L Chevy 2500HD.
Works out to 10mpg I think.
NOT my daily driver !
I just went through this a few weeks ago.
I went to AMA to register. It was $199.95 + 39.95 for a minute book (Which honestly, you can just buy a binder for $2.49 and call it your minute book)....
For out of province vehicle inspections, if a truck doesn't have mud flaps that drop to the center of the axles it fails. This doesn't apply to cars / suvs.
I agree. If I bought an sti, I'd install the non sti spoiler.
Just buy a $5 o-ring for the distributor from Honda and do it properly. Don't "Silicone" the o-ring, you don't want that crap getting inside your engine when you push it back into place.
This sub is old school, but amazing quality. It's probably about 12 years old. Has not been in use in the last 10 years. Specs on it are in the pictures. Good condition, no rips or tears, needs a bit...
I'd consider an STI if it wasn't for that ugly rear spoiler.
My own home brew.. Made from a beer kit. 5 Weeks start to finish and an hour of work. 48 pints of beer for $30.00.
Check PM, interested.
Hands down, the Toyo MT's. I run them on my F-350 and just love them. Not as noisy as most, and you can get a crapload of mileage out of them. Most people get 100K + from a set. I've had them on for...
It's an ipfilter.dat file that is loaded separate. I have a program that updates it for me into the utorrent directory. The option has to be enabled in utorrent.
Here's the info you need :
...
I've had probably 30 of these emails. I eventually started using an IP filter with Utorrent, and have never had an email since.
Would you mind posting any sales for Langdon in the last 60 days?
Thanks in advance!
I'd rather have a good PDR job, vs panels being welded in (IE: ROOF) & paint that doesn't blend in exactly the same as the other panels.
Not a great gaming build, but it will work.
Mud flaps are required on all trucks. They have to come down to the centre of the axle, and must be the width of the tire.
This applies to every dealer in Calgary, it's the way it is. The margins set by the manufactures are terrible from a business view. Markup on many parts are 100% + up to a certain dollar value.
We had the same problem with ours, it ended up being a relay.
Pics of damage?
2010 WRX interior sucks, stereo sucks, lacks a 6th gear OD. Other than that I enjoyed it, while I owned one.
