Didn’t think I was miserable but after reading this entire thread, I definitely feel miserable.
I would probably cancel and order to deliver in Calgary. Just a much easier process (assuming you don’t need a lot of customization and you have no issues with bringing it down afterwards).
Severance is typically tied to time w/ company or length of their non-solicit/non-compete and to account for the fact that it may take a little bit before they find a new job.
I also think you...
Nice to finally be green on CYBN, MYCO, NUMI and RVV. I think I'm going to take some profits on MMED soon.
I bought Vechain many years ago, thought it was a sunk cost so nice to see that it's finally worth something...
Cybin taking a beating today.
I got my first dose of Pfizer yesterday in Toronto. Ironically, both the GF (who is a nurse) and my parents (based in Calgary) haven't gotten theirs.
The whole rollout has been a nightmare,...
I feel your pain - the Manulife funds are brutal.
For us, we have a DC portion that I have to leave in Manulife (which sucks), but the rest of my contribution (and the match) can go to RRSP or...
Anyone know much about NVTA? Heard Cathie talking about them yesterday and they've gone on a 20+% swing since she started talking about them.
It's hard to look these days. Averaged down quite a bit on a few things, but it just keeps going!!!
Finally got a small position in RVV to join in on the ride.
For those on NEON, what's your price target?
Looks like the deal is close. I'm probably going to hold.
Even in the AH...crazy that it's so high with no actual announcement, but glad I'm part of the ride.
Haha they have to bend it to make headlines! But yes, unfortunately a large majority of people don't know how to interpret it.
For sure makes sense if you rent. It's a fairly substantial amount. Based on the list of what's available, not a whole lot of benefits for those who own.
Anyone see any good buying opportunities today?
Some good ones - I really like Jeffersons.
Surprised nobody has mentioned Blantons.
I've been holding WELL for awhile, since around $2 - I was actually debating selling it, but likely will hold on.
Anavex on a tear. Good for the ATOS crew as well.
Been at home since March 13th 2020. Went into the office once to pick up a couple things, but that's it. Miss the travel and seeing clients in person for sure.
Would be interested to see people's...
Appreciate this pick - thanks dude!
We use ours at least a few times a week - super easy to do stuff like hashbrowns, fries, etc.
We also will put salmon in it once in awhile for a quick dinner - super quick.
Wings come out...
I have WS trade, there's no limit, but they do charge 1.5% FX fee both ways for US equities (and there's no option to have a USD account), so you're constantly paying that FX.
You can now trade...
Those are some lucky kids.
How in the world do you guys find out about these things?
Hoping to pick up an iPad for the gf - it would be for when she's doing botox. Primary purpose would be for her to use it to take photos of the clients (before and after) and draw on it to show them...
Wow, some of you have a lot of subscriptions. Also a few for me:
Netflix
Amazon prime
Peloton
Spotify
Uber eats pass
Absolutely ridiculous.
BNGO also on a ride.
Geez BNGO is on a :rocket:
Just going to quote myself here...
There is a decent number of jobs in Toronto for experienced hires. But it does come down to industry and more specifically what you're looking for. Probably not a huge issue on the phone number for...
Well average tenure of a CEO is pretty short. Good CEOs are harder to find sure, but most of them get brought in to do specific job (growth, cost cutting, turnaround, etc.) and then it's onto the...
CIBC is slow for sure. I find it is slower during non-business hours (i.e. after like 6pm or something). I also bank with RBC so have had all my e-transfers come in through that, it has been...
I'm in the don't go to buffets often category - just the quality/cleanliness of the food isn't the best combined with the fact that I almost always leave way too full.
Hot pot might be the only...
I've just been spending some time reading - been trying to read a book every week or two. Taking advantage of the fact that there's not many TV shows going on and no sports to catch up on that.

Truly impressed that you guys have managed to wait it out that long... I caved at like week 3 and got some clippers (but usually go every 1.5-2 weeks). Found out I can give myself a decent fade...
I see some good potential with WELL Health, but again, do your own DD.
Which card do you have?
Not for me. Are there a lot of people who are wearing masks to go shopping?
