So jealous how tidy your garage is - can I assume no kids?
Has anyone used a general contractor that they are enamored with? So far we haven't found anyone we love (not for a basement finishing job but our project isn't far off).
May as well lay it all out:
Golf Membership
Glencoe Golf & Country Club Entrance Fee $ 50,000.00
Golf Dues – Principal – $ 4,998.00
Capital Fee $ ...
Arguably one of the best practice facilities in town, and supposed to have a great juniors program. Wife and I have been poking around (I am sure you have all the numbers) but haven't committed yet....
Does anyone have a sales contact at Ford? Trying to source a few trucks for work
A friend recommended Rita in the Petrofina building and I tried them a week or two back - highly recommend. Sounds similar to what the OP turkey sandwich was like

Haha you're probably right, and I can picture who said it
Please tell me this is the latest buzz phrase at your shop
Sounds like he’s taken on a hobby to get away from his wife
Once you get a gas powered blower you will never go back - just did 8 or 9 houses down to bare pavement in 30 min or so
I ordered the new interior, but likely won’t be here until Q3
I ignored all the sensible advice in this thread and came back to this - thanks for input all! Now to come back to this thread in 6+ months when this thing finally arrives
Yeah I was surprised how low the rating is for both the diesel and V8 since the max tow package isn’t available. Probably ok for my world but if it was available I would have ticked that box.
Yeah it will be heated garage to heated garage for the most part - I suspect by the time this thing shows up we will be in the SUV daily though
This is true
Was chatting with Brent.fff and figured we should throw it on Beyond to tear apart - I am about to pull the trigger on a new GM and am debating between the 6.2L V8 or 3.0L Duramax. In general the...
Can’t help but I love this idea - hope someone recommends something!
This. Or just buy a second pickup truck.
Dave is installing some tile on our kitchen island in the next couple weeks, pretty pumped!
Just want to confirm (even though I’ve read it over and over) - we don’t need any Covid test prior to arriving at the airport if we are going to Mexico?
Drove down Wednesday and it was the easiest border crossing I have ever had - not a single other vehicle, not a single question. Glorious. Now hopefully Canada catches up before I head back!
Couple more weeks!! Pretty excited

Exactly - basically the builder undersized a beam at the garage level (with 3 floors stacked on top) which had to be replaced/reinforced, but also led to significant exterior damage, including...
Big fan of Orphan Barrel. Bookers, Michters also really good.
Yeah we've got a slip and typically spend a lot of time at the lake, ignoring the last 2 summers.
In the last couple years my midlife crisis mobile has changed from a 993 C4S to a 23' surf boat for the family. Maybe the 993 will come back into play when they are a bit older - now I just look at...
Is that Killramos's GM in the back there?
Same with Maui - will be the first time I don't have to fly back on the red eye!
You've got all that leftover $$ after not getting the CS too so may as well go play the tables.
Highly recommend Nashville over Vegas
Haha I am getting wife prepped. Yeah for sure - I just think this all points to good news for the end of June. If we get the green light before the long weekend I am going to be pumped!

Our one regret with ours is going chlorine over salt - the sales guy told us chlorine is better for hot tubs at vacation properties but my old man bought a salt tub and it’s night and day in terms of...
I’m a previous CNQ employee and can honestly say I enjoyed it. Obviously had it drawbacks but every shop does.
I mean it more as that was never their MO - they followed their business plan: build, sell, build again
I would have been highly surprised if their technical team had gone over (ie. would have required a serious retention bonus structure)
Was this in the current market? Feels like every realtor could give examples of the same in the last 3-6 months.
Which is interesting because ribs are my “I want to smoke something but I don’t want to fuk around”. 3-2-1 is just so easy and 10/10 every time.
