There is also a rear-diff clunk in the 04's, when shifting, or putting the car into reverse. Not a big deal, can be cured with better bushings.

its not like we are living in the arctic man. 90% of the winter the roads are bare.
the trunk isn't the expensive part,, its the paint thats the expensive part.
FYI, paint was MORE than the actual trunk.. its about $800 (plus or minus a few, can't find my reciept)
I would personally check nasioc for a used hoodscoop,, as it is gonna be cheaper than the paint route.
or go with a 02/03 jdm sti hood scoop, there is ALOT of those for sale on nasioc.
