I'm asking this on here because I know more than one person on this board must have come from Saskatchewan...
I may be moving from Regina to Lethbridge in a year or so for family reasons. How big a...

Lookin to convert to EFI. I need a fuel rail. Ross Machine, BBM, etc. Don't offer me a new one because I know where I can find one of those.
There were definitely no MK3 GTI 1.8's, and the 1.8l in the CL was not digifant, they used a system called mono-motronic. A bastard setup at best.
Yeah, I like how they took a 1.8t golf, and "transformed" it by adding software, CAI, big heavy wheels, and a vinyl stripe. Like nobody's ever done that before. I can't believe that show made it on...
The 3 most important qualities that I like in a salesperson are:
Knowledge--KNOW your product, and your competitors product. Strengths, weaknesses, features, specs, etc
Enthusiasm--You must...
I'd have to chime in with the "go for the 16v" crowd. I've had 4 8v VW's, with various mods. Now I have my first 16v, its a bone stock 2.0, and its way faster than my most worked over 8v was. The...
One of my friends has Konigsports on his Golf and loves them. For what its worth I have the Hitec kit on my Jetta and I like it. Good ride quality, very well dampened. Not bouncy, and great...
Was it running when parked 2 months ago? If yes, and you say that it wouldn't turn over even by hand, I may be inclined to worry. Get the starter tested, and double check all connections. Make...
Got some pics now. email if interested.
What is so special about 10000?
NASCAR guys run 9000 and a bit, but they never need them to last more than 600 miles or so. They spend big bucks on parts and still have fairly common valvetrain...
I think Edmunds is pretty good, although sometimes their reporting gets tainted with their own opinions instead of just the facts, but most of the time its quite good.
Thanks for all the input, it confimed most of what I thought.
I'm working on my first 16v project, and '90 Jetta GTX. Its almost ready to drive after rescuing it from several negligent PO's. I've had several 8v's over the years, and found them to be awesome...
The only way I can see to make money on Ebay is to find/make/invent something that not everybody on the block is selling. I say think it out, use your imagination, meet some people that are...
Ummmm, helloooo, I didn't see Daewoo on that list...:dunno:
Old tired VW 020 tranny's like synthetic too!
Excuse my ignorance as well....But what the hell is touge and wangan? Did he mean "touch my wanger"? Seriously though, what is that stuff?
I like European Car as well, but it is not as much of a "tuner" mag as some of the others. I actually prefer my smut and cars to be in separate mags.:nut:
You still haven't told us what your mileage was before.
If I understand the CCRA website babble correctly, there should be no duty on Auto parts. Its sort of confusing babble though.
I know that I have never been charged duty on anything I've ordered...
Heres one:
Every vehicle will have fastest acceleration if shifted at redline.
A huge improvement over the crappy Skoda's we used to have available here. Although you would expect that as they ARE part of the VW group. lol
It really is amazing what a good winter tire can do. I have some Yokohama Guardex on my Jetta, and they really make a huge difference on icy roads. Even in deep snow, they don't seem to polish the...
I second the innacurate odo reading theory. From the original post it sounds like the milage changed when you put on the bigger tires.
Also, I see that you are from Ontario CA. California? If so,...
Just a stab in the dark, as it could be many things, but you say it only happens in certain gears, maybe transmission? Manual or automatic?
Nope, no pics yet. I don't have a digi cam so I have to scan in some pics after I get the film developed. Hopefully by Sunday I'll have some.
Seats are pretty much perfect. No rips or tears. Fronts are heated. They are the standard GL grey fuzzy cloth. Drivers side has tilting base.
I like #4
Parting out a '92 Alpine White Jetta, rear ended hard.
Asking $300.00 for engine. Has Autotech 270 cam and dual exhaust manifold. About 140000 kms, solid engine.
Lots of other good parts too.

We hit -42 in Regina last night. Feels like my springs are replaced with steel pipe!
In what way are older houses built better? How old are you talking? I believe that the new "engineered" trusses, joists, plywood etc, is better than the old methods of wood construction.
haha, I'd like to see your Sable in OUR weather. Forecast is for
-40 tonight.
BTW, Olds seems to handle it just fine. -40!! DAMN
Haha, lots of people don't have a clue that some cars use bolts...NOT STUDS.
Anyway, I got mine at Kal Tire. They have a catalog with all sorts of lug hardware. It was about half the price of the...
I don't.
Yes, you do.
Thank you.
I will.
An Audi A4 and Jetta are the same other than the fascia, headlights, and trim?????? OK, if you say so.

Platform sharing does not equal rebadging. In the example of the 1.6EL and civic. They are virtually mechanically and cosmetically identical. They share many body panels, suspension, running gear...
The scum that do things like this feel they are "victims" of society and its their weak, pathetic way of getting even. They blame successful, hard-working people for their poverty, addiction,...
