I thought about it, that engine runs on premium though and at our altitude I'd be willing to bet it's no more powerful than a 3.5EB. Not to mention it gets far worse fuel mileage.

Yah the 2.7EB ain't half bad. At our altitude, even the baby EB feels stronger than the GM 5.3. Somehow that engine (5.3) still makes the same power & torque as it did 10 years ago, it's a good chunk...

I drove a well-equipped '24 Silverado RST and a '24 F150 Lariat back-to-back last week. Needless to say, I signed the paperwork on the Ford. :D And believe it or not, I'm a GM guy at heart.

X-Plan is just invoice + 2%. Some dealers will give you a copy of the invoice via email, some will need you to come in, but you should have no issues seeing the invoice number and the X-Plan number....

While a far cry from the pre-covid days, truck dealers (and manufacturers) seem to be increasingly hungry to actually move units. I just signed the paperwork for a new F150 Lariat over the weekend....

Yup I got my MT Golf R for ~$53.5K OTD, a DSG is a bit more, but I think you'd be right at the $55K price point if you're patient and willing to shop around.

Race Room was awesome, they had some very high-end sim equipment, I think tracksvr still uses belt driven thrustmaster wheelbases. Though that's obviously perfectly adequate for some people.
