I end up returning a lot of clothes to Costco. No real ability to try things on in warehouse so it goes back if it doesn't fit.
Also returned an Apple Pencil that was DOA and just bought a new one...
Beautiful build! You gave this frame the life it deserved! Looks awesome. I still miss having the Rove in my fleet!
Pretty much my experience as well. I still order screen protectors from there though. I order the first one from Amazon for Prime and then the subsequent ones are all from Ali.
This.
I had my car done here a in March. I think it was $125 or so.
huh! Today I learned. I did my headlights ages ago with clear from Advance Auto Color and they still look good 5 years later.
That said, the car is rarely parked outside and gets washed/waxed...
Agreed. At a minimum it is worth while to at least shoot some cheap rattle can clear over restored headlights. Even that won't protect the lenses forever.

This is the Jed that everyone formerly knew as Mobile Reflections. He has a new shop and installs STEK.
Edit - Too early and misread
Yikes....
Just looking through some details on Hyundai's I have done in the past and most of them seem to have pretty thin clearcoats (sub 5 mils total depth avg). My guess is you're going to...
That must be an insane profit margin for dealerships. They only have to "inspect" a new car every other time. No parts or other services required....insane!
Anytime is charging full rates like every other gym. Interestingly enough Anytimes in BC are open like before. They have a soft cap of 30-40 members inside at any given time but I can't say I've see...
I think I was a bit of a dummy not marking up the value of my bikes.
Sold 5 of my bikes in the last 2 weeks. 2 of them ended up with beyonders. Sold my old giant MTB for way more than I was...
Got a lift in today and it was humbling to say the least.
Some weights I used to lift as a warm-up moved really slow. My former RPE 6 is closer to RPE 9.
This feels like it is going to be a...
It was on Kijiji twice!
I sold it on Sunday and the new owner didn't love it so he resold it on Tuesday after a couple of rides. I half debated buying it back because it was such a great ride,...
I did! I think I might have let it go too cheap because I had 6 offers for it in the first 30 mins it was posted. Sold it with the 28 gatorskins and a set of 33 CX that I think we're on my JTS. Buyer...
LOL! This used to be my bike! Sorry for the crappy handlebar tape job. Lost a bar plug on a ride and did a quick fix...then never rewrapped them. It will do well in the winter.
I loved this bike...
I don't believe the Home Trust card has a min. spend unless that is new. Couldn't find anything on the site either.
I used to travel a lot before COVID and found Home Trust rates to be a bit...
This is the exact number for bed occupancy in one of our major Calgary hospitals.
The number is intentionally low to prepare for an uptick in cases coming in. Cancellation of surgeries also...
I have been buying VEQT every 3-4% dip. Originally I was going in with some heavy positions but now I am just buying less than 1K at a time... Just too many dips now.
I am buying in slowly. Hopefully I won't get burned too badly but started averaging down my VGRO. Progressively buying 100 shares of VEQT everyday it is down more than 2%.
My thoughts exactly. I have detailed a bunch of Tesla's and I can honestly say they aren't amazing but they also aren't awful. Panel gaps and the paint are subpar for sure, but I can't say I have...
Easily 50+. I think I have 15 pairs of MyPackage and 10+ SAXX in box still. I always buy them when they go on sale because the discount is pretty good a few times a year. I think I average $7-$10 for...
Also worthwhile to go over all your seals with silicone lube on a towel.
I wash my car 2-3x per week even when it is super cold and it helps a ton. Don't forget the hood, sunroof, trunk..etc.
No, they usually stay pretty nice. That said, the flim rarely looks very good after a couple of years. I did my own headlights and it has stains from some bugs..etc.
I have used dual sims in my OnePlus 5 for a couple years and it has been super handy. Really handy if your work has a BYOD policy or you are travelling. I think the OnePlus 7T should have this...
Kind of this. Ceramic coatings do work, but they aren't magic. I think it helps keep my car cleaner but there is only so much slush it can really repel off your paint.
Once you do even a quick...
It rides really poorly to be honest. I have the old version with the wheel weights so it isn't a direct comparison.
It just doesn't spin up and down very nicely. It is also quite difficult to find...
My setup is similar. I have a fan on max plugged into a smart outlet.
Once I am warmed up I have to ask Alexa to turn on fan. It is ghetto but very cheap. I think 2 fans are $25 and the smart...
Got a pretty much identical notice from Area 51
I have had a really good experience with these guys. They have done amazing custom colours for me including touch up paint to match my pedal bike.
Can't believe you bought your son a 6/6 race car.
It isn't in the SE but I would happily take the car to Hu's garage. Ryan / Steve have seen tons of accords come in over the years including mine.
Not a requirement. I have been using ONR for 5+ years with both RO water and just warm tap water in the winter. It is fine, but it depends on your technique. Also technically I think distilled water...
That looks like a pretty nice example. Timing belt done saves you a bit of change. Chances are if it was done at the dealer it could have spark plugs and valve adjustment done too.
I didn't have a bad buying experience at Northwest but my last few experiences with service have been pretty poor. I'd probably just skip the games and go to Silverhill if possible.
Central vac is going to give you the most power for the $$ as it doesn't need to be portable.
Dyson is pretty much the only brand you need to consider if you want to go cordless. The battery life...
Any chance anyone has a Shimano R500 or 501 rear wheel they are looking to get rid of?
I looked into it before when replacing toilets. It is pretty loud so I chose to skip it. AFAIK there isn't any plumbing mods needed but I can't speak to retrofit kits.
I imagine if we had tons of Level 4 chargers available it would eventually make sense for condo dwellers without a place to charge.
My parents would love to get an EV as the incentives in BC are...
You can really use any 2 level surfaces if you are going to use a block of wood and a rubber mallet to hammer it out. Tops of 2 chairs, pile of wood or books would probably work. I would let some...
